In a time when connection feels more vital than ever, Pasadena’s own Wild Heart Mamas continues to nurture local mothers through free weekly gatherings designed to uplift, connect, and empower women.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Founded in 2021 by local mom and therapist, Needah Kavallierou, Wild Heart Mamas was created as a space for mothers to find friendship, support, and honest conversations about the realities of motherhood. The group meets every Wednesday in Pasadena, offering an open invitation to all moms — no sign-ups, no cost, just community.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
“When the fires and hardships of recent years reminded us how fragile life can be, Pasadena moms showed what true resilience looks like,” said Needah Kavallierou, founder of Wild Heart Mamas. “We’ve built a place where women can come as they are tired, messy, joyful, overwhelmed and still feel deeply seen.”
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
As both a therapist and mom of two, Kavallierou understands how emotional and mental health are deeply tied to motherhood. Alongside leading the group, she also accepts patients for therapy and takes insurance, offering moms access to continued emotional support in a professional, judgment-free space.

Wild Heart Mamas has become one of Pasadena’s most beloved mom communities a place where laughter, healing, and friendship meet over coffee. The gatherings are always free, and the mission is simple: to build authentic connection among women who are doing the hard and beautiful work of raising the next generation.
