Meet Yasmine Belle of WomanCEO in Culver City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yasmine Belle.

Yasmine, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Living in Los Angeles, CA, for the last ten years and originally from Marrakech, Morocco. I am fortunate enough to have lived a multi-cultural lifestyle having a Moroccan father and an American mother. I have been blessed with the superpower of being adaptable, and my parent’s influence coupled with speaking fluently in French and Arabic fueled my compassion for different cultures.

My father had a passion for raising Arabian horses, and with that influence, I began to ride at 5 years old, which quickly led me to became a horse trainer.

I loved being around horses, as a young girl, I remembered always being in my riding boots and refusing to take them off when I got home, I guess the determined little-girl still lies within. Horses kept me grounded, brought me peace, and I was moved by their beauty.

When my family and I moved to the United States, I started my career in the financial sector and worked for 20 years as a corporate accountant. I was very good at my craft, but there was always that little voice inside me, that always wanted to reach for more. At that time, I wasn’t sure exactly what it could be, but I decided to take a leap of faith and start my accounting firm focusing on smaller businesses and individuals.

My inspiration comes from my father, a brilliant entrepreneur beyond his time, managed several businesses globally, while always keeping the future in mind.

My mission is very personal to me, as our future depends on the investment we make today in developing the next generations of leaders. With my financial background, coupled with my coaching skills, I organically discovered my passion for empowering CEO’s, entrepreneurs, visionaries and creators. Therefore, I infused my work with a genuine desire to inspire people by using tools and techniques I learned during my challenging seasons.

Through overcoming personal obstacles that held me back, I challenged myself to ignite my internal power by focusing my attention on my personal growth. I infuse this secret sauce into my day-to-day coaching technique, as well as the success of my businesses.

I am so very grateful and blessed to have achieved all the success in my life. Although, like anything in life, if you want something strong enough, you have to put in the work, to reap its rewards.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh gosh, not all at, if we had smooth roads, we wouldn’t learn our lessons in life. All challenges and obstacles once faced coming with a powerful message. I always been a risk-taker and pushed myself to do better, be better and that alone comes with a lot of internal courage and vulnerability. I am still on the journey of self-discovery, as we never stop learning, and change is a continuous life transition.

My favorite Gandhi quote is “Be the Change you Want to see in the World” –

I would say the community of like-minded individuals that we have met along the way. Together is better, and we focus on rising each other to our full potential. I am most proud when I see the positive change we make in peoples lives, as they now are able to touch other souls in a positive way. So I like to think of it as a domino effect, as good energy is contagious.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
When we lived in Morocco, we had a beautiful ranch outside of Marrakech, which was designed by my father. And one of my favorite memories as a young girl was the time that I felt adventurous and decided to ride my horse, Alia, bareback.

Alia, was a beauty, an Arabian mare that my father loved as she won many trophies for her beauty and racing capabilities. Hence, to say, Alia, had a lot of fire and character to her, which I loved most.

One afternoon, I decided to take Alia for a short walk around the property, while waiting for my mother to get home from running her errands in town.

While I was daydreaming and gazing at nature, while riding, in the distance, I saw my mother drive towards the property gates and knew that shortly she would be arriving at the house gates, which we had two dogs, a Doberman and Rottweiler. I knew they would sneak out when the gates when opened, and if they saw me riding, they could come straight for me.

And there I was, riding an Arabian horse without a saddle – Panic struck!

At that moment, I knew I was faced with a choice, to panic and do nothing or to panic and run for it. I quickly decided to put the peddle to the metal, and in one instant later Alia and I were in sync galloping at full throttle.

I cannot even begin to explain the euphoric feeling at that moment. It was a combination of fear, courage, excitement, adrenaline, focus, and freedom all wrapped into a small but epic moment. I never felt so free and connected. It was a magical experience that I will always cherish, as it made me conquer fear and get out of my comfort zone. And yes, in case you are wondering, I luckily was able to run from the dogs and back to the stables safely!
