Empowered by my background and inspired by the arts, l pursued a career in film with determination and resilience. From humble beginnings to becoming a proud father of four boys, I persevered through challenges and broke into the industry as an actor, stand-in, and stunt performer. With unwavering optimism and passion for storytelling, I transformed from a Brooklyn native enthralled by TV classics like Miami Vice to a skilled thespian capable of evoking emotions on screen. My journey demonstrates that hard work can overcome adversity while fueling dreams of making people laugh or cry through character portrayals.
Igniting hope and inspiring positive change, this tale begins amidst New York’s concrete jungle before traversing coastlines to California, where self-belief, tenacity, and familial support paved paths toward realizing artistic ambitions within cutthroat Hollywood landscapes.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Despite the pandemic’s challenges, I remained determined to pursue my passion for filmmaking. After three years of perseverance, I was thrilled to land roles in two notable TV shows, ‘Winning Time’ and ‘Hunters.’ By prioritizing safety and taking extra precautions as a parent, l overcame the odds and found success in the industry.
The pandemic may have disrupted the film industry, but it couldn’t dampen my spirit.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
As a professional stuntman, my job is to push the boundaries of what audiences expect from action scenes in movies and TV shows. My expertise allows me to execute heart-stopping feats while keeping safety protocols top of mind at all times.
My life is centered around two key aspects – nurturing my loving relationship with my four sons, making sure I’m the ultimate superhero, creating a footprint for them, and making a positive impact within marginalized communities through selfless service. Moreover, it gives me immense satisfaction to contribute towards the success of my fiancé’s noble endeavor aimed at creating greater consciousness regarding Lupus disease amongst both patients as well as their families through her nonprofit organization.
What matters most to you? Why?
My children and immediate family are the most precious and important people in my life; they hold a very special place in my heart. My spirituality is also extremely important to me, as it helps me stay grounded, focused, and at peace with myself and the world around me.
