Hi Vanessa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have always embraced challenges, and a year before launching my business, I was exploring the idea of entrepreneurship without a clear direction. I ventured into the lash and brow industry, even taking classes, but soon realized it wasn’t my passion. I wanted to engage in something that not only brought joy to others but was also fulfilling for me. After researching the photobooth industry, I felt a strong connection and knew I wanted to be involved. My goal was to create happiness and lasting memories for people during their special occasions. After nearly a year of research, I took the plunge and bought my first photobooth. The beginning was tough, and there were moments of doubt, but I was determined to show my three daughters that they could achieve anything they set their minds to. I reached out to local cities and organizations, offering my services, which led to an increase in bookings from nonprofits and city events. Soon after, I began receiving more requests for weddings and Quinceañeras. I made it a point to bring my eldest daughter along to some of the events, teaching her the business and encouraging her to pursue her own dreams

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Balancing everything hasn’t always been a walk in the park. There were moments when I questioned my skills in juggling motherhood, being a wife, and handling a full-time job while also running a business. People frequently ask how I keep it all together, and to be honest, there are times I wonder myself. However, I truly find fulfillment in what I do..

I am employed full-time in the mental health sector, where I have accumulated over a decade of experience. This profession can be both fulfilling and challenging, which makes it particularly gratifying to operate a business that emphasizes and celebrates and captures the positive aspects of life.
