Today we’d like to introduce you to Tunde Adigun.
Hi Tunde, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally a Chicago native but moved to California back in 2013. I came out here with a goal of improving my environment and bettering myself and my future endeavors. I originally came to California for an externship Program with CBS Radio, but unfortunately that fell through due to circumstances out of my control. But because of my background as a Barber, I decided to invest in myself and start a career as a “High End Barber”.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth situation for me out here in California. I had found myself working dead-end job after dead-end job with no motivation to move up in the company I worked for or no other situation that could adequately support me financially out here in LA. I end up either getting fired or quitting all of the jobs that I had and when I tried to do “ride share” jobs, I found myself getting into 10 car accidents.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m currently a high-end Barber for a variety of athletes, musicians, actors, comedians and entrepreneurs here in Los Angeles. One thing that sets me apart from other barbers in LA is my ability to pay attention to the small details and give the customer exactly what they want out of a quality haircut without and extra sprays or unnecessary enhancements. What I’m most proud of is the fact that out of 17 years of cutting hair I’ve been able to build a reputation for myself that allows my customers not only to come back again and again but to have my services be highly recommended to others.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Well, I’m available to collaborate with photographers and or videographers to help develop quality barbering content. But if not, I’m willing to just provide my services to new and existing clients.
