Meet Tasha-Nicole Terani of TNT Soccer System

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha-Nicole Terani. 

Hi Tasha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was abandoned as a baby in the streets of Iran. Someone heard my cries and decided to rescue me from the street and bring me to an orphanage in Northern Tehran. There I would spend the next few years in an overcrowded and understaffed orphanage. I choose to believe there was a divine reason for why I was abandoned. 

I was eventually adopted and brought to the United States, where I would continue to fight to belong and to be loved. You see, unconditional love wasn’t something I had known yet. I had to discover it on my own and learn how to channel that within myself. 

When I look back now, I know it was divine! 

My being forced to survive the streets, become strong, and ultimately find true happiness all on my own. I was meant to do it; I was strong enough to do it. I did it! 

I would end up leaving my adopted home quite early, as a teenager. Just as I started surviving early, I started working very early too. As a teenager, I often had several jobs at one time. From a paper route to modeling on the cover of a magazine. I can tell you honestly that I had more fun throwing papers than I ever did modeling. 

Modeling was never for me. One of the biggest signs that modeling wasn’t for me was my behavior when my friends would ask about my latest photo shoots. Friends and even strangers would see me in ads or in a show and they would ask me questions. I would cower and make strange excuses. I’d say, “that’s not me in that magazine.” I definitely noticed frustration amongst my friends when I would deny what I was doing. They didn’t get it. Why would they? 

I kept it all inside. My true strength, my real abilities, and my depth. 

My real desire was to work with children in any capacity. 

I began searching for a way out of the modeling business. I began giving my time and energy to people that were living a life I respected. People that I felt I could truly be myself around. People that inspired me and motivated me to challenge myself to do greater things. Once I tapped into that energy, I was on my way. 

By age 26, I would finally leave the modeling business behind and follow my dreams. At the time I only knew two things for certain about what I wanted and what I am good at. I knew I wanted to work with and help to inspire children. And I knew that I am an incredible soccer player! Now I need to put those together and live my own American dream! 

Within 3 months I was breaking men’s soccer World Records. I thought if I become the best in the world in my field, I will be able to teach and motivate children around the world! I was right! I continued to break more records and in 2003 I started my own soccer training company. In 2005 I became a United Nations Envoy for International Youth Soccer. Allowing me to train, mentor, and inspire kids around the world. As I began to find success and to live my American dream, I knew exactly what was next. 

I started the Every Child’s Dream Foundation 501c3 in 2009. Giving specialty care packages to orphaned and abandoned babies and children worldwide. Care packages which help to provide physical and emotional support to babies and children in need. Something I knew firsthand that myself and all of the kids in my orphanage dreamed of having. A teddy bear to hold and to call family, a blanket to keep us warm and vital supplies to keep us healthy in the unhealthy environment that surrounded us. 

As of 2022, the Every Child’s Dream Foundation has delivered care packages to more than 96 countries worldwide and to every state in the United States. We now cater to orphanages, hospitals, foster care agencies, shelters, and disaster relief efforts worldwide. 

My little soccer company soon became a household name. The TNT Soccer System now has clients around the world. We also have many soccer products, including products specifically made to help build confidence! 

Currently, I am writing a children’s book series focusing on unconditional love and finding it within yourself. The universal discovery that everything we seek from the outside world must first be found and nurtured from within. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can’t say it’s been a smooth road! You will always have battles and obstacles no matter what. Some of those battles will be against yourself and some of them against others. Some may even be imaginary! 

For me, I’ve had them all. It’s the battles that makes us strong! The most important thing is to keep moving forward through the obstacles and to never give up.

The TNT Soccer System training focuses on building up the player as an individual. In order for that player to become a more well-rounded player for their team. What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that everything I’ve ever accomplished in my life has taken a minimum of two years of dedication and hard work. You will have to work hard either way. Whether it’s for someone else’s business or for your own business. Just as a great soccer striker will tell you, once you commit to a move you must go all in with no hesitation. For the move to work it must be done with full commitment. I am the all-in type. I make a decision and I take daily steps, however large or small, to complete my goals. I have found that I can accomplish great things with simple daily disciplines.
