Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Purciello.
Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into weddings and events was never about planning for planning’s sake. It began with storytelling, design, and an instinctive understanding that the most beautiful celebrations are the ones that feel deeply personal.
I was raised between two cultures, French and American, where gatherings were never just events but experiences. From intimate family dinners in France to milestone celebrations marked by intention and elegance, I learned early that beauty lives in the details, but meaning lives in how those details make people feel. That sensibility stayed with me as I built a career rooted in project management, design, and creative direction, learning how to balance precision with artistry and structure with emotion.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, where I developed a deep respect for spatial flow, proportion, and the emotional power of well designed environments. This foundation led me into the corporate world, where I worked for the largest architecture firm in the world and within a global technology company, refining my experience at the intersection of design, innovation, and large scale execution. Immersed in complex, high level projects, I learned how to manage layered logistics, collaborate across disciplines, and translate vision into seamless execution.
While my corporate career strengthened my technical expertise, life refined my perspective. Becoming a mother reshaped how I view time, memory, and legacy, and ultimately clarified the kind of work I wanted to create. Weddings and Events by MP was born from that moment of alignment, blending formal design training, architectural discipline, and a deeply human approach to celebration.
Today, my work is shaped by a deep sense of intention and an intuitive understanding of how moments are felt. I design destination weddings across California, France, and Hawaii with a gentle focus on flow, emotion, and the subtle details that create a sense of ease. Every choice is made thoughtfully, not for excess, but to protect the experience itself and allow my couples to feel present, calm, and cared for, while my approach remains grounded in trust, thoughtful collaboration, and a calm presence.
At its core, my work is about creating celebrations that feel unmistakably personal. Thoughtfully planned and artfully designed, each experience is shaped with intention and care, allowing beauty and meaning to coexist effortlessly. The goal is never excess, but moments that feel true, elegant, and unforgettable long after they are lived.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have always trusted that if I remained open, curious, and willing to evolve, I would be guided toward what was meant for me.
There were moments of uncertainty and refinement, especially when stepping away from the security of the corporate world and allowing creativity and intuition to lead. But each experience shaped clarity rather than doubt. I learned to listen closely, to adjust without fear, and to trust that the right opportunities would reveal themselves in time.
Keeping my doors open has always been essential. It allowed my path to unfold organically, leading me exactly where I was meant to be. Looking back, every step feels intentional, even the ones that required patience. This work now feels not only aligned, but inevitable, as though it has been quietly waiting for me all along.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work centers on designing destination weddings that feel intentional, personal, and beautifully composed. I specialize in celebrations across California, France, and Hawaii, guiding couples through the planning process with calm clarity and a deep sensitivity to how moments are experienced. Each wedding is approached as a carefully layered story, where flow, emotion, and design work seamlessly together.
What I am known for is not just aesthetic refinement, but the experience I create for my couples. I am deeply detail oriented, never for the sake of excess or perfection alone. Each detail serves a purpose, protecting the couple’s peace, honoring their priorities, and ensuring the celebration unfolds with ease. My background in interior design and architecture informs how I think about space, movement, and balance, while my corporate experience brings structure, foresight, and precision to even the most complex destination events.
What sets my work apart is the way intention leads every decision. I care deeply about my clients, their journey, and how things feel, not just how they look.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
If there is one thing I would love to share, it is this: meaningful moments are created when we slow down enough to be present. Whether in celebration, travel, or everyday life, beauty is felt most deeply when intention leads the way.
The most memorable experiences are not defined by scale or spectacle, but by care, connection, and how they make us feel. When we choose thoughtfully and honor what truly matters to us, we create memories that last far beyond a single moment.
