Meet Cece Hendrick of Spoiled!

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cece Hendrick.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Cece. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I own Spoiled! A high-end consignment store for kids. We sell brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren and more. I started my business online in 2014 and it was going so well I opened my store at 8178 Melrose in 2017. I have traveled many parts of the world and even lived in Europe for some years and I end up loving how European kids dress and conduct themselves. I also started noticing the decrease in kid clothing stores in many states. I came up with the concept to help those who want to dress in high-end labels but for a cheaper price. And also because many mothers go through closets of clothes with labels on them or hardly worn and end up giving them away for free. Kids grow so fast. I got the name of the store from my son Jordan who asked me one day was he SPOILED. I pride myself in the clothes that come in my store. All items are either new or close to new. We have been lucky to have celebrities visit our store also knowing what a gem they have found in Spoiled!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My biggest struggle honestly is a good help. It is so hard to find the right employee who really wants to work and grow with a storefront.

Other obstacles are slow seasons financially it can be a downer.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Spoiled! – what should we know?
What sets me apart from others are the designer only aspect as well as the product being NEW or as close to NEW as possible.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have had many VIP clients who have stuck with me since we were online. My mother and Son, as well as my husband, are my biggest cheerleaders. When I make decisions, I know this seems cheesy but I say what would Oprah do. LOL

Zenay R Barton who pushed me and believed in me. Without her I would have never felt confident enough to do it.

Kellie Lovelace who visioned my success before I even dreamed up the idea.

And one of my biggest cheerleader outside family has been Jenia Fredrique who has supported me constantly with her words and encouragement.

I also am thankful for my celebrity clientele who also continues to frequent my store.
