Our Story
Kaylee & Rose was born from family, creativity, and the belief that fine jewelry should be both personal and attainable. The name combines the hearts behind the brand — Shirley’s two daughters, Kayla and Leean, along with her middle name, Rose. From the beginning, it has been a true family venture, inspired and guided by the bond between mother and daughters.
Our signature pink palette — from vibrant to soft tones — embodies the strength and femininity that define our brand: a celebration of women creating, inspiring, and leading together.
In 2020, we opened our first storefront in Beverly Hills, right next to the beloved Croft Alley. Our vision was simple yet groundbreaking: to bring the Downtown LA wholesale jewelry experience to Beverly Hills — offering luxury fine jewelry at unmatched prices.
By designing, producing, and selling directly to our customers, we eliminate traditional retail markups, allowing access to exceptional craftsmanship and design at true wholesale value. Nearly every piece is originally designed by our owner and lead designer, Shirley, making it exclusive to Kaylee & Rose — jewelry you won’t find anywhere else. Each creation reflects our commitment to artistry, authenticity, and timeless beauty.
Crafted from 14K gold, genuine diamonds, and natural gemstones, our pieces balance luxury with everyday wearability. Beyond our collections, we also offer custom design services, welcoming clients to sit down with Shirley to bring their dream piece to life.
Since 2024, Shirley’s daughter, Leean, has joined her full-time, working alongside her to learn every aspect of the business and help develop it to new levels — from creative direction and marketing to expanding Kaylee & Rose’s presence nationwide.
What began as a family dream has grown into a community built on trust, craftsmanship, and the love of jewelry that tells your story.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any meaningful journey it hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has shaped who we are today.
The woman behind it all, Shirley Rose Klein Suleminian, began her path with a deep love for art and design. Originally a graphic designer, she moved to America and found herself immersed in the Downtown LA jewelry district, working alongside her husband. Over nearly three decades, she mastered the world of wholesale sterling silver jewelry, learning every aspect of the business from design to production.
Driven by creativity and a relentless vision, Shirley began crafting her own pieces — designs that quickly captured attention for their originality and artistry. As demand for her work grew, what started as a creative passion evolved into the dream of owning a boutique dedicated entirely to her creations.
In 2020, Shirley turned that dream into reality, opening her first Kaylee & Rose storefront in Beverly Hills. Transitioning from sterling silver to 14K gold, genuine diamonds, and natural gemstones, she continued her mission to make fine jewelry accessible at wholesale prices — without ever compromising on quality or heart.
Building a brand through a global pandemic came with challenges, from navigating supply chains to establishing trust as a new business. But, Shirley’s hands-on approach and deep care for her customers carried the brand forward. Her joy comes from connecting personally with every client, turning customers into the Kaylee & Rose family.
Today, her collections evolve weekly, with new designs continuously created and manufactured to keep the brand fresh and inspired. Each piece is crafted with love and purpose; a symbol of resilience, creativity, and community.

How do you think about luck?
I’ve always believed that luck can open a door, but it’s what you do after that moment that truly defines your path.
When I met my husband, he was already working in the sterling silver jewelry business. Our love story brought me to America, and that decision changed the course of my life. What began as a new chapter in love also became the start of my career in jewelry. Through him, I was introduced to the world of wholesale where I learned how to sell, built lasting relationships, and discovered my passion for design. Over the years, I’ve built not only a family with my husband, but another family through the business I created: Kaylee & Rose.
Now, as I enter this next phase of my life and career, I feel incredibly fortunate that my daughter Leean is working alongside me. She shares the same vision and values that have always defined our brand, and together we’re ready to take Kaylee & Rose beyond Beverly Hills — making our designs accessible to people across the country.
So yes, there’s been luck in my story — in love, in timing, in opportunity — but this business is built on far more than that. It’s built on hard work, collaboration, vision, and the courage to create something truly one of a kind.

- We offer true wholesale pricing directly to our customers, meaning our fine jewelry is typically 50–60% below traditional retail prices.
- Everyday fine jewelry pieces start around $250–$600, but we also carry statement and event pieces
- Each piece is priced according to the current gold market rate at the time of production, ensuring transparency and stability.
- Custom designs are available upon request, with pricing tailored to gold weight, diamond or gemstone carat, and craftsmanship.
