Hi Shideh, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Nearly two decades ago, I began my intense journey as an emergency room physician in urban level 1 Trauma Centers. Picture a world where every second matters and the weight of your decisions can be felt on your shoulders, with constantly shifting priorities and resources. But amidst the chaos, my true passion emerged: teaching budding physicians to not just survive the storm but thrive amidst it.

As time went on, I realized a universal truth: people, regardless of their profession, often pull away from big dreams due to the stress and uncertainty they bring – similar to the environment of the emergency room. I saw that the resilience and mindset I instilled in my residents had wider application.

So, I made a change. Using my extensive experience, I decided to help high achievers from all industries to face their fears, set ambitious goals, and achieve them. Today, I’m not just a physician but a performance coach to those who dare to dream big. It’s a testament to the power of perseverance and the human spirit. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life’s roads are never meant to be smooth, and my journey has its share of bumps. Transitioning from full-time clinical medicine, a career I deeply cherish, was both challenging and poignant. While I continue to practice part-time, as it’s intrinsically tied to who I am, embracing and nurturing my second passion has been immensely rewarding despite the challenges along the way.

My coaching practice is dedicated to guiding high-caliber, intelligent individuals in setting and achieving monumental goals. It’s not uncommon for many to temper their aspirations, held back by apprehensions of uncertainty. Drawing from my experiences as an ER doctor, where unpredictability was the norm and rising to the day’s challenges was essential, I’ve cultivated a unique expertise in navigating uncertainty. I’ve transformed this expertise into a coaching methodology that’s all about embracing the unknown with audacity.

I’m often recognized for my fearless approach to coaching. Unlike some who might tread lightly, I love to dive deep with my clients, challenging them every step of the way. My 1:1 coaching sessions are intense and incisive, pushing individuals to not just meet but surpass their own expectations.

What sets me apart is the blend of my medical background with robust coaching techniques. This combination fosters a unique perspective, allowing me to see and address challenges in ways others might not.
