Today we’d like to introduce you to Cortney Renee.
Courtney started doing makeup at the age of 15 and she is completely self-taught.
“I became interested in it because most of my family members are involved in the beauty and entertainment industry. I started off with freelancing for special occasions such as weddings, baby showers, family photos etc. As I got older I started getting into print work and on screen makeup and from there it took off. As of now, I currently work for MAC cosmetics and freelance. I also work with a few women as a personal on call artist,” she shared.
She’s working on securing celebrity contracts, continuing to build her personal brand on social media and built her private client list. She’s incredibly humble, but her work speaks for her. Talented, hard-working and grounded – she is truly an inspiration for aspiring independents in LA.
