Meet Scott Clement of Ultimate Drone Productions in Orange County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott Clement.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Scott. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I work in the production industry and was looking for a way to diversify myself. At the same time another friend of mine, Zach McKinnon, who was also in the production industry, was looking to diversify himself as well and had begun taking an interest in drones, building and flying his own. We met a gentleman who had been in the drone industry a while and began telling us about the opportunities that were starting to evolve. Zach and I did some of our own research and with my background in video and running a business and his in drones we decided to go into business together and started Ultimate Drone Productions.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Starting any business is challenging. There have been times the road has been smooth and times it has been bumpy. As with any new business the challenge is becoming known in what could be perceived as a flooded market place, but we believe this industry is just at its beginning and there is a lot of growth to come, and that there is plenty of work for everyone. Our main focus is to serve our clients in a way that they love and keeps them coming back.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Ultimate Drone Productions – what should we know?
We are a full-scale video production company specializing in aerial videography and photography. We serve clients in a wide variety of industries including Real Estate, Corporate videos, Television, or a small business looking for a new way to market themselves,

What we are most proud of as a company is how we serve our clients. We come with a genuine care of wanting to partner with them in creating a product they would love and that would serve them and their objective.

We have a creative team of people with diverse backgrounds that which helps us adapt to any situation or request. We are able to peel back and really listen to what our clients want. We are hands on and give the personal touch to every project by walking our clients through the process step by step which gives them the assurance they are in the right hands.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
One of our biggest influences has been our friends Damon Darnall and Gina Eubanks. They own The Sky Eye Network which is the largest network of Drone Entrepreneurs in the world. Through that network we have received coaching, training and support on how to build a successful drone business. We have also received one on one coaching from a friend and mentor of our, John Boggs. He has been there to make sure we are on the right path to growing a business that will last through the years and ensure we are creating an asset, not just a job.
