I’m Sandy, the owner of Luludew. Before starting Luludew, I taught elementary school for 12 years. When my kids were born, I felt an urge to switch careers to give me the freedom to be more present with them. With my husband by my side, I pursued my vision of opening a sustainable diaper company.

Luludew began as a small cloth diaper delivery service aimed at reducing waste and offering a healthier alternative for babies. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction helped us grow. We expanded our services, collaborated with local businesses, and focused on educating new families about the benefits of cloth diapering.

Today, Luludew thrives as a trusted name in the eco-friendly parenting community, continually innovating to support sustainable living.

It hasn’t always been a smooth road for Luludew. Like any business, we’ve faced our fair share of challenges. Initially, educating parents about the benefits of cloth diapering and overcoming misconceptions was a significant hurdle. We had to build trust and demonstrate the advantages of our service compared to disposable diapers.

Logistics and scaling our operations also posed difficulties, from managing delivery schedules to ensuring consistent product quality. Additionally, balancing work and family life was a constant challenge. However, these struggles have strengthened our commitment and resilience, ultimately helping us create a more robust and customer-focused business.

A significant part of our growth strategy includes our sister company, Sustainable Laundry Co., which will allow us to broaden our reach to boutique hotels.

By offering our unique reclaim service for stained linens, we aim to reduce waste in the hospitality industry and promote sustainable practices on a larger scale. We anticipate that this expansion will not only enhance our business but also create new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations.

Additionally, we will continue to stay ahead of trends in sustainable living and diapering, integrating new technologies and practices that benefit both our customers and the environment. Our focus on education and customer support will remain a core aspect of our mission, ensuring that we provide the best possible experience for families and businesses alike.
