Meet Rachael Cappuccino of Cappuccino Physical Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Cappuccino.

Hi Rachael, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Rachael started Cappuccino Physical Therapy in 2022 after the birth of her second child. She saw a great need for pelvic floor physical therapy in the Conejo Valley. Too many women of all ages live with symptoms that are very common, but never normal. Rachael has had heard WAY too many stories of women being written off, ignored, or gaslit because of their symptoms that are associated with menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and menopause. At Cappuccino Physical Therapy, we treat women of all ages-teenagers who are dealing with incontinence, pregnant women looking to prepare for birth, postpartum women who are recovering from birth, and menopausal women who are looking to maintain longevity. Every woman who walks in the door will feel seen, heard and validated.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Owning a business comes with challenges-it’s the highest highs and lowest lows. Overall, it’s been a smooth road and I’ve had incredible support from my family, business mentors, friends and employees.

As you know, we’re big fans of Cappuccino Physical Therapy . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Cappuccino Physical Therapy is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Clinic specializing in treating women of all ages. We have an extensive birth preparation program that educates pregnant women on the labor and delivery process and a postpartum recovery program that helps mamas get back to the exercise they love without symptoms. Outside of the perinatal population, we treat young girls dealing with urinary incontinence, painful periods and other related symptoms and help perimenopausal and menopausal women manage their pelvic floor symptoms during this period. We are proud to serve women of all ages in the Conejo Valley.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I highly recommend working with a business mentor specific to your niche. I believe this is what gave me great success in business. I started working with a business mentor the same time I started my practice, and within 6 months I had a 3 month waitlist.

As for networking, it’s so important to get involved with like minded business professionals in the community. Word of mouth is such a strong referral source and building relationships with those around you can help with this.
