Hi Nikolay, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dancestreet studio was established in 2015 . At that time it was 6 partners and it seemed fun to run it together at first place.
Soon we realized the difficulties of having 6 people at the helm of this boat,
And we decided to buy out other partners shares. And all fun begins.
Back then it was a growing business and we subleased a small floor in Pilates studio.
Since then we moved to our own place, we built it to our own needs and style . we have 2 spacious ballrooms and beautiful location. People said that it feels like home for them.
We are proud to get amazing team of top professional instructors .
Dance street studio teaches all possible social style of dances and on the other hand we are teaching top notch dancers in ballroom field .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Quite a few .
6 dancers ( very artistic and passionate) , but with very different views and backgrounds decided to start the business , but haven’t decided how we gonna run it. That was tough but we have to separate in Oder for our business to thrive and have its own face.

Me and Nikolay are both from Russia used to learn and teach dancing in a certain way. Which is amazing for professional dancers but could be intimidating for beginners.
We have to change a lot in our approach , since we teach a lot of beginners and social dancers ,plus we have to learn some selling skills.( never was our priority, as a top professional dancers in ballroom field we devote all our time to become skillful dancers)

Covid slow down our business and almost killed it , but we are blessed to have amazing supporters in our team and amazing land lord who helped us to get through this.

There are two main reasons which sets Dance Street apart from other ballroom dance studios. Quality of instruction! Studio owners are 2 times US professional Latin Dance Champions. With More than 30 years experience they offer best possible training as for beginners as for more advanced and competitive students.
Friendly ,family like atmosphere. Our studio space, our staff, our clients we all operate like big group of close friends, united by passion for dancing.
We do in studio showcases, live music dance parties , seminars and masterclasses of best people in the field. Our students won 8 world champion titles and been applaud on every major stage in USA.
We also teach a variety of styles Salsa Swing, Argentine tango, Cha-Cha-Cha Rumba, Quickstep , Bachata, Kizomba Hustle, Line dance. We have classes for kids and adults.
Every year we creating tens of First Dance Routines, bringing joy and lifelong memories to newlyweds.
