Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As I sought deeper meaning, I found myself drawn to spiritual practices that helped me understand my own healing. I earned a license in Spiritual and Metaphysical Studies from the Agape Institute and later received a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Along the way, I fell in love with astrology, moon work, and ancestral healing—tools that have not only guided me but have become the foundation of my work with others.

But my path hasn’t been without struggle. I’ve had to confront deep personal and generational wounds, particularly those tied to race, identity, and the collective trauma that so many of us carry. As a Black woman in America, my spiritual journey has been intertwined with learning how to transmute pain into wisdom. Anger, grief, and struggle have all been teachers, helping me unlock deeper truths about myself and the world.

One of my greatest teachers has been my son, Zion. As a single mother raising a child with special needs, I’ve had to navigate challenges that stretched me beyond what I thought was possible. His presence in my life has deepened my capacity for love, patience, and surrender. Through him, I’ve learned what it truly means to hold space for another person’s growth and healing.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
My life and work have been shaped by courage—by taking risks that often felt like leaps into the unknown. Nothing about my journey has been safe or predictable. Every major decision I’ve made—whether it was shifting from politics to spirituality, becoming a single mother, or stepping fully into my calling as an astrologer and life coach—felt like walking on the edge of a cliff, trusting that something unseen would catch me.

There were times when I doubted myself, when the weight of uncertainty made me question if I was on the right path. But deep down, I knew that playing it safe was never my destiny. I had to trust the whispers of my soul, even when they led me away from what seemed practical or expected. It was through these risks—through saying yes when everything in me wanted reassurance—that I discovered the true meaning of magic.

Magic isn’t some far-off, mystical force—it’s the courage to trust in what you cannot see, to believe in possibilities beyond logic, and to surrender to the unfolding of something greater than yourself. Every time I followed my intuition, even when it made no sense, the universe met me with miracles. Opportunities appeared, doors opened, and people showed up at just the right moment to guide me forward.

My work is a reflection of this lived experience. I don’t just teach astrology, moon cycles, and spiritual transformation—I live it. I help others break free from fear, from old conditioning, from the idea that they have to follow a set path. Because I know what’s possible when you dare to believe in something bigger than what’s in front of you.

Looking back, I realize that every risk, every challenge, every moment of uncertainty was part of a divine plan, leading me to where I am today. And I wouldn’t change a thing. Because in the end, my path wasn’t about playing it safe—it was about finding the courage to believe in magic, over and over again.
