Today we’d like to introduce you to Meiling Choy.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up like many. Played sports…went to school…along with all the other things kids do. It wasn’t until high school that things started to get interesting. In high school I was set for college with a 4 point something g.p.a. and potential sports scholarships when a brain injury decided to come along and change the trajectory of my entire life. I went from an athletic brainiac, to someone who could barely read, walk in a straight line, or formulate proper sentences to communicate. My entire world was flipped upside down. I couldn’t even tell you how I managed to graduate high school, let alone get into college as a mechanical engineering major. Those years were rough, but it made me realize that life can drastically change in the blink of an eye. You truly only live once and sometimes a traumatic injury is the only way someone could truly grasp that.
As cheesy as it may sound, YOLO really did become my new motto. With sports out of the picture, I began to explore other passions. Which is how my modeling career came to be. At this time, social media was on the rise, and I used it as my artistic outlet through my tedious engineering years. I used social media to promote myself and as I grew my creativity, so did my modeling career. Now, mind you, while all the photoshoots and runways were going on, I was still in college for engineering, and still trying to find a way to heal my brain.
During these years, I also started to dive into the personal development world in hopes to find ways to heal my brain quicker. I had noticed my sensitivity had grown substantially since the injury and so had my intuition. Everything about me felt so delicate and heightened. Little did I know this would lead me to my life’s purpose. As my journey expanded so did my spirituality, intuition, and ability to read energy. Before you say anything, I was pretty skeptical about this too, until I realized what I was/am capable of doing. The best part of it all was that it could easily be explained and backed up by science. The exact science I was going to school for. The irony of these things going on at the same time is just as crazy as it sounds, but it’s the truth. I saw myself differently. I saw the world differently. The only way I could explain it is: My newfound knowledge made me feel like I had more control over my life because I finally knew how the world worked around me. I felt powerful because I finally obtained the tools, I needed to change my life and start producing the results I wanted. Knowing that there was science to back up what I was doing and the changes I was making as an Intuitive Energy Reader made me feel more confident in my abilities and a little less crazy. That and the humble fact that by this point, the accuracy of my intuitive energy readings was highly impressive. Now I continue to help others understand energy on both a scientific and spiritual level, so they can gain the tools needed to change their own life the way I did mine.
Fast forward to today, I continue to live by my passions because life is too short to do anything else. As a model, I’ve been able to walk for runway shows all across the country and work with brands such as Toyota, Lancome, Ralph Lauren, TikTok, +more. As a creator, I have been able to grow and build a community through my relatable and entertaining videos. As an Intuitive Energy Reader, or a Scientific Psychic, as I call myself, I have been able to touch so many lives and help so many heal from their past, answer their unanswered questions, give reassurance, and pass forward messages from the beyond all while guiding them to the path of their highest self.
If I look back on my journey, do I wish things had happened differently? The answer would be no. I don’t have any regrets and if I had to do it all again to get to where I am at today, then so be it. I am proud of how far I have come and am excited to see what else life has in store for me.
