Marmont Treehouse was founded when my business partner and I decided to move to the West Coast after one too many harsh winters in NYC. I come from a finance background, and he was a luxury fashion executive. We always had an affinity for entertaining at home and loved creating environments conducive to relaxed and comfortable settings. We were instantly enamored by Southern California weather and its relaxed atmosphere. We found a home in the Hollywood Hills, completely surrounded by trees, something that we yearned for in our past urban life, and that’s where the inspiration to name the company Marmont Treehouse came to be. This home symbolizes, similar to a treehouse for a child, a place of escaping reality and dreaming about other unexplored worlds. The home and its surroundings inspired us to create a collection of home goods that exemplify Southern California living. Our aesthetic certainly is inspired and derived by the beautiful lush surroundings of our home.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Like with any business, the beginning is always a challenge, but at the same time it is a great opportunity to learn about your determination and love for creativity. The biggest obstacle has been in getting our name and brand known to the public and figuring out what our identity is and what we are bringing to the world that is different from our competitors. At the end of the day, there are many great products out there, but very few stay true to their own vision and aesthetic. Marmont Treehouse aesthetic is modern metropolitan meets organic chic outdoor comfort living.

We design and manufacture all of our pillow covers in Los Angeles, with free shipping within US. As a company, we continuously explore and grow our creativity, therefore we tend to carry limited quantities of each design to focus on delivering new creations to our clients. We do take requests for larger quantities and custom designs.
