Meet Marcie Sabatella of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcie Sabatella

Marcie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Many years ago, after having a longtime career as a physical therapist and restaurant & bar owner, I found myself as a single mom at a crossroads in my career. I knew that I had spent many years establishing my professional network, and decided to use that network to build a career in real estate. Fast forward 10 yrs I’ve been recognized by Real Trends America’s Top 1.5% Real Estate Professionals.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Real Estate has been one of the most challenging career experiences of my life. It is highly competitive, our industry and what we do is not well respected and the stressor are high.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Real Estate Advisor. My niche is working and representing newly recruited Doctors and Administrative Staff at the top Universities in Los Angeles, helping them buy and sell homes. I also specialize in residential luxury real estate in Los Angels County. I’m most proud of my career growth every year in real estate a was named one of Wall Street Journal and Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals in the country. Real Estate is a hustle and if you’re not working hard 24/7 you’re not going to be successful. What sets me apart is my ability to be an expert level negotiator and project manager. It takes years of experience to navigate the complexities of a real estate transaction with grace and ease. I feel privileged to be a trusted real estate advisor for my clients.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
As a mentor now to other agents, I cannot stress enough how important your network is to your business and brand. You have to establish a connection with people in order for them to trust you and want to work with you. Strive to be the real estate expert in the room. Take advantage of every opportunity to meet new people and share your experience and value with them. Do things for people, provide them with an introduction or offer to help them out anyway possible. Once you’ve established the relationship, stay connected so when they think of the local expert in real estate, they think of you.
