Mands, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I began electric human as an expression of love and care. As the name suggests, electric human is about seeing ourselves as we are – both electric and human. And while we may not always feel the magnitude of our electricity, strength and energy all at once, I set out to create a company and products that serve as reminders that we are. From gifts to jewelry to apparel these are products lead us into the ever changing landscape of our future – to feel at ease, to feel care for, to feel loved.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has been exactly as I envisioned it would be. Hard with a million challenges and struggles. From launching to growth to sustaining. The saying if it was easy, everyone would do it is true.

I am electric human. The founder and everything in between. In many ways, creatively electric human is a love story disguised as a lifestyle brand. Every product is a feeling. A love affair. A connection to a moment, a fragment, a memory, a loved friend, a moment. I love the feeling and intention behind each product from soft cottons to fine jewelry to unique gifts. I wake up every day excited to see what electric human can do and then do next.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Electric human would not have been inspired without the influences of Los Angeles and California – from its spiritualism to its people to its love of supporting new creations.
