Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm Marable.
Malcolm, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started Just 2 Nice because I enjoy fashion and I honestly believed that I had something to offer the world of fashion. I had a problem with the current brands overpricing, logo placement, and none involvement to their customers. I wanted to create something comfortable and functional. But most important, I wanted to create a brand to believe in, an experience, a culture.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road at all. I ran into so many obstacles along the way, including money, untrustworthy people, bad business, no help, etc. But I believe that everything I went through made the business much more sharp for sure.
Please tell us about Just 2 Nice.

Our separation from other companies lies within our originality and our organic story that ties into our mission to inspire others to live life confidently. Our Pop-up events are probably what I’m most proud of and always most excited about. It shows how far we’ve come. Releasing new products, seeing new faces that have bought into our mission, engaging with the followers and online customers in person. It’s a beautiful feeling and a huge step forward every time.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memories are always when I was victorious in a situation where I should have lost, or if I did lose it wasn’t a big deal because people were kind of expecting it anyway. Two situations in particular, in the 9th grade, I won the open 400-meter dash against two seniors at Loyola. The other situation is when I was 12, and I slap boxed with a bully/teammate and end up winning pretty easily.
