Meet Lisa Santine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Santine.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am an architect, an interior designer, an artist. I am also an empath, an intuitive, an artist, an astrologer, a tarot card reader, a crystal collector, and most importantly, a believer that if you do anything with passion and love, it will not only inspire others, but it will help make the world a more beautiful place.

I have worked in Architecture and Interior Design for a lot of my adulthood. I have designed residences that have won awards and have been in several publications.

In March 2020, like most of Los Angles I received word that many businesses are asked to start working remotely. I sent my amazing Architecture and Interior Design employees home, and we did what we can to start working remotely. In Architecture and Interior Design, we make decisions as a team. We are very much a studio, and I thrive off of this energy. Many of my projects had to go on hold.

Well, this is when I decided to pursue a long-cherished dream.

When I was a little girl, My dad used to take my brothers and myself to a local bookstore every Sunday after church. This is when my brothers would get their comic books, my Father would get his International newspapers, and I used to sneak in the ‘New Age’ section in the way way back. I would get lost in the Astrology and Tarot books. I read about palmistry and numerology, mystical studies and Spirituality. This was my little secret and I couldn’t wait to sit on the floor where nobody would see me and read for hours.

After many years of developing my skills in Astrology and Tarot, I finally decided to reveal this part of myself to the world.

It was my desire to CREATE during the difficult times that really brought me back to life. I decided to start to draw and create my tarot cards. At the same time, I launched a website and started to develop a podcast. I worked day and night and manifested my tarot deck called the Destiny Deck, and placed it on a crowdfunding site with the dream that I will create my passion project and bring it to reality.

To my disbelief, I had slowly started to gain a following, I believe we are all here to serve a purpose, and I have found mine. It didn’t come easy to me. After a series of very significant life-altering events that started in August of 2017, I grew stronger and stronger in my own spiritual practice. And this leads me to the exact place I am right now.

It has taken me several years to bring everything to fruition and introduce the world to my connection with the spiritual world. And this is the perfect time to do it!

Along with launching my website lisasantine.com, creating my first tarot deck and working on my podcast, called Shine, I have also just written my first book, called the Tarot Treasury, which combines Astrology, Tarot, Numerology as a way of studying the mystical art of Tarot.

I am so excited to share my passion with the world.

My goal is to spread love, joy and truth throughout the world. We are powerful in who we are when we are guided by our truth and love. And together, we can create the life we were incarnated to live.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has not been a smooth road. I have been faced with many challenges. In 2017, I went through a very difficult time. And in May 2019, the trauma affected me physically. I woke up one Tuesday in May 2019 with a spinal cord injury which resulted in the complete paralysis of my left leg. I was in a wheelchair and then a walker. After working very hard for a year, I am able to walk and run and do most things that everybody else can do. I still do not have feeling in my leg, but I look like I do.

This experience has given me a strong voice to talk about how life is not a dress rehearsal. We have this life, this chance, to live our purpose. I am grateful for the gift I received: The disability that literally paralyzed me from moving forward. It stopped me in my tracks and I went within. And from this experience, I move forward, knowing that the universe is abundant and always here, guiding me…guiding us.

The struggle of taking a pause from Architecture and Interior design was also a challenge. A business I worked my entire life to create. I am still working hard on my design business because it is my passion. Along with Lisa Santine, I have created Welch Design Studio and Welch Design Studio Interiors. And all three of these businesses are my blood sweat and tears.

Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about you and your career so far?
Lisa Santine is a conscious business. It is a passion business. It is the manifestation of my life purpose. This is where I help beautiful souls work towards finding their life purpose, as well as, once they understand their purpose, continuously working on it. I do coaching, I offer readings through tarot, astrology, or spiritual consultations and coaching. I have created products that aid in self-discovery that also guide people to tap into their own intuitive abilities. I have a connection with each and everybody who reaches out to me.

I am most proud of the connections I have made. And when someone comes back to me and tells me that their session with me resonated, or they felt more positive after reaching out to me…then I have done my job. I am also proud that my company has not even been around for a year, and I have reached thousands of people in over 40 countries. I am so grateful for this.

What sets me apart is probably what set many people apart. It is about the connections. It’s about living every single day with a purpose. It’s about shining the light and showing that every single human on this planet has a purpose. With regards to the connections, for me a reading or a coaching session is not about only that moment. It is about the moments after the reading and after we connect. I love when my clients stay in touch with me. I will cheer them on, I will help support them in their endeavors and discoveries, and I will do my best to empower anybody to reach their highest potential. I am always encouraging people to start anywhere, to conquer their fears, and to know that we have this moment to shine our light…so let’s do it. Growing up I had so many of my own fears to work through. I am still working on many of those. It is a constant work in progress. But once we know this and get to the other side of those fears, the universe will support our even our craziest ideas. As long as they are aligned with our purpose.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory as a child was singing and dancing with my family.

My dad was a musician, an art historian and a dentist. My mom is an artist. I have two amazing brothers, and together we would form trios and my mom and dad would sing and dance as we played music. We also went to many art museums and art galleries together. I met people from all walks of life. It was a very beautiful, eclectic, artistic, creative and interesting childhood. And it was full of love.
