Meet Latrice Kristine of Victorville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Latrice Kristine

Hi Latrice, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started back in 2010 I moved to Atalanta to prosue my career and in that time I met some people such as young jeezey, Tiny “Tameka Harris” from escape and the Omg girls back when lil Wayne daughter was in the group. I met a host of people in Atlanta but it wasn’t my thang becuase the weather start tearing me up! So I came back down to California and started making a buzz out here for myself. I started performing at big arenas such as the staple center where I was on the legends tour feat Ginuwine, Michelle, KC and Jo Jo , black street , Tank and more. I also performed with Monica and Latoya Luckett at the Anaheim Grove and with faith Evan’s and a host of others in Las Vegas so I was really doing some things and making some noise. I did a Christmas song with Dionne Warwick and Whitney Houston and they way I got that gig was becuase her son Damon Elliot was my manager so I really had experienced a whole lot of people in the industry. I’m currently working on new music and dedicated to my non profit organization All Smilez Loving Carw Goundarion which I am the CEO of where we are mentoring young men and women in how to sing dance braid hair and also how to become entrepreneurs themselves.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No nothing has ever been just smooth. We live in a world where everyone is in comp with each other and instead of helping people get to where you know they could be folks are praying on your down fold and they are only there for the moment and what they can get from you especially in the industry of work I’m in. Smooth never! Lol

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a mother a R&B singer and I run my non profit organization. I’m proud of it all becuase it definitely shows every part of me and what I bring to the table is still a work in progress but I’m getting there and with the help of some of my community people it’s getting slightly easier to navigate through everything

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Never fold never give up. Make sure when you are starting something don’t be afraid to fail. You gotta start somewhere and work out all the kinks before you can actually start seeing some good come out of what you are doing. It’s just like starting a Buiness you will take a L before you start seeing profit and that’s just facts! So keep pushing and don’t be afraid to ask for a little help when you need it put your pride aside
