Meet Kristina and Kayla Goosby of GoosbyTwins in Gardena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina and Kayla Goosby.

From adolescent to adulthood, the GoosbyTwins granted each other a sense of security and self-confidence, which enabled them to always stick together. This deep connection was rooted at an early age and drove them into entrepreneurship. They understood the highest currency in life… Time. They knew how important it was which is why they choose to dedicate their life to following their dreams.

The GoosbyTwins spent a lot of money on stationery sets and the options available did not meet their expectations. They settled every time spending money on what they partially wanted. The GoosbyTwins also notice the lack of stationery designs and set tailored towards women of color. Henceforth, Kristina and Kayla created GoosbyTwins stationery, a stationery collection that is dedicated to redefining, inspiring, and uniting women globally.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
HA! Yeah right. We have faced some struggles since starting our business in 2016 and are still learning things along the way. It is important to trust the process and remain patient. We notice the importance of having to be confident in our abilities. No matter how many times we failed, we got back up and learned from it. Failing at something does not make you a failure; it makes you wiser and teaches you a valuable lesson. Enjoy every single process and never let anyone tell you what you cannot do.

GoosbyTwins – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We noticed the lack of stationery designs and sets that sparked our interest. We set out to provide a universal stationery set that represents not only our community but all communities. OUR passion to INSPIRE drives us to take action and make a difference within our culture and society. Here we are today challenging ourselves to REPRESENT women on a global scale. We created this daily planner for women to UNITE and EMBRACE each other.

We have branched out into another avenue for our lifestyle brand. Our 2018 collection will consist not only of daily planners but also fitness journals, agenda books, notebooks, notepads, water bottles, and exercise mats. We are extremely excited to bring these items to our shop and hope everyone enjoys them just as much as we enjoyed creating them.
