Meet Kelly Yeh of Juicy Creations in Irvine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Yeh.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was initially trying to decorate my cubicle with some natural plants by just picking some succulents from my garden and planting them in various containers around the house. I soon became obsessed with making them and had a whole living room filled. My friends, who are in marketing, suggested that I start selling them. I was hesitant because 1. I didn’t think anyone would want to buy my creations 2. I didn’t know where to start. Luckily, one of my friends offered to make a website for me and helped launch my products.

Has it been a smooth road?
I was initially selling my creations just locally but then found that people were selling them on Etsy! I was bewildered as to how they would ship it already made as I couldn’t imagine how I would package it. So I purchased one from a business on Etsy and saw how they packaged it and thought I could do it too! So I made a few alterations and started selling them on Etsy now too! 🙂

What else should our readers know?
Our most popular creation are the ones with the figurines, whether it is Totoro or Hello Kitty, everyone loves the unique characters that add a pop of animation to their terrariums!
