Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmene Thomas. She shares her story with us below:

J. Moton Event Elements (JMEE) is a Los Angeles based Wedding & Special Event Planning & Design Company established by Jazmene Thomas in 2020 to serve clients nationwide.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been a California Licensed Funeral Director for over 15 years, and I seen so much sadness and loss, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Too many times I’ve seen funerals become mini-family reunions. Because of that, JMEE was established to make hosting a beautiful, stress-free event, obtainable. JMEE makes Planning and hosting enjoyable for our clients. They can party with their family and friends while we handle all of the details. Our clients have busy lives. Between working, taking care of kids, and running a household they don’t have the time to plan out all of the details it takes to execute a beautiful Wedding or special event. We are your Party Personal Assistants!

J. Moton Event Elements provides planning and design for weddings and special events. Jazmene is a certified Event Design and Event Planner.

As we grow in the industry, we want to not only execute memorable events for our amazing clients but to remain humble for the position we are in. This space we hold in the industry is not taken for granted. Our client’s event vision is just as important as their well-being. I am on the frontline for my clients to negoiating their contracts, managing their vendors and handling the event logistics. My confidence in my Event Planning and Design experience is a source of peace and calmness. There are so many reasons to celebrate, and you should! Our clients are able to enjoy their event that they’ve invested so much of thier time and money into. We are experts. Let us handle your party planning stress.

A strong faith in God has led me to live in my purpose. I stand firm in my position as a leader in my family, my community, and in my business. jmee is the perfect blend of Jazmene the Leader and Jazmene the creative. Being able to speak up for my clients to see their event vision come to life and also expand their pallet. Just as no two people are alike neither should any two parties. Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
In June of 2022, I left my 9 to 5 to fully devote myself to my baby J. Moton Event Elements.  The success of my business directly correlates to the success of my clients events. Since 2022 our bookings have doubled annually, we have been publised in 2 nationwide publications, Black Bride (October 2021) and Munaluchi (March 2022) and have expanded our services to full service planning.  I’m looking forward to growing my business, creating beautiful events and fully living in my purpose.
