Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Green.
Hi Isaiah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
The uniqueness about my story is that trying to follow my passion was not working for me. I only know how to follow my efforts. I have a native of Garland, Texas moved to Long Beach, wanting more out of life. I was in finance working at an investment firm but I was working out every day and then slowly people kept asking me to train them, so I did. Once I received my last check, I applied for Mayweather Boxing & Fitness as a Studio Manager and have not looked back since.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We live in LA. No road is smooth, there was bumps, road blocks, I had a few flat tires but all in all, I kept driving. Navigating a different industry was hard. The fitness industry is hyper-competitive, and everyone wants to work with the best of the best. What separated me, I would say is my level of professionalism, punctuality with time, and actually living what I preached to my clients.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a fitness professional. My certifications include strength & conditioning, sports nutritional specialist, USA Boxing Coach. Biomechanics of human movement & anatomy, and I have a personal training certification from NASM. My job is simple, to make my clients a better performing human being.
What matters most to you? Why?
Empathy and doing the work the ability to focus on good days and bad days will always separate the good from the great.
