Hi Hervens, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
How I got started was my continuous hunger for helping people better themselves, fashion, marketing, and amazing articles of clothing. Overall, just my addiction to being creative kept growing. I have this perfectionist mindset with everything. I like to learn how to be distinguished & I take pride in putting my own spin on things. I have my ears to the ground when it comes to everything so I know an effective way to tell a story through how I dress, do my voiceovers, and aid clients in telling theirs.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey hasn’t been a smooth road at all! I think watching people do things like gate-keep, downplay me, or ignore my emails always motivated me to find genuine alternatives of showcasing my talent and what I truly bring to the table. Finding out what worked out for me was a struggle in the very beginning, but when I sat down and understood no one was me & I was no one else, it helped me identify how I should go about branding & marketing myself as a creative.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m known for styling, creative consultancy, event curation, Emceeing & voice-over work. I think what I’m most proud of currently is my voice-over for the Boston Celtics 2023 Playoff Campaign. Being from Boston & seeing my voice on the screen for a team I grew up watching & still love hit differently. What sets me apart from others is I’m a one-stop shop. I’m a man who wears many hats.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as accomplishing unique & distinguished goal(s) that change your life and the lives of others for the better. Success is being able to mention names & create opportunities. Success is waking up when you feel like it & not by an alarm.
