Meet Helene Stahl of Extensions Plus in Reseda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Helene Stahl.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Helene. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I always had a passion for hair. When I heard about hair extensions, I was intrigued. I heard about a salon in Calabasas called Tadashi and that they were teaching the application of hair extensions.

They were looking for an assistant and I volunteered. I was immediately fascinated watching them make the wefts by hand. I knew then that’s what I wanted to do, Is make hand wefts. I started making wefts at home for Tadashi and a few other salons. The hair was not good quality and I felt bad having to charge them labor a second time. That’s when I decided to search the world to buy the best quality hair available. I went to many countries in the world and I researched for the best quality. Which leads us to present.

We have always strived to purchase the best raw material and provide the best workmanship.

Has it been a smooth road?
The quality raw material is expensive and having to compete with other vendors was a challenge in its self. There were times we stayed up all night just to complete orders. Keeping the consistency and control in order was very hard.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Extensions Plus – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We manufacture human hair extensions and wigs. We specialize in custom coloring and customizing hair products. We are known for matching color and texture. We are proud of making people look good and feel good. Which essentially changes their lives. We are also proud of being able to employ so many people, which supports them and their families. Our constant strive for quality sets us apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like that it’s diversified and multicultural. The thing I like least is the traffic.
