Meet Evgeniya Karpova

Today we’d like to introduce you to Evgeniya Karpova.

Hi Evgeniya, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Turkmenistan! I was born and grow up in Kaspian see. From early on, I knew I will live somewhere far, far away from my home. Accidentally came to the beauty industry and become a hairdresser, but stayed because I liked it at the beginning, and after meeting my first mentor decided it’s exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. Archive the most possible thing in my country, I moved to Dubai by following my relationship. It was another huge growing moment in my life that last for seven years. I guess God had another plan for me. After making the decision to split up, I got the perfect opportunity to move to the US, and its a blessing. Some people will be discouraged to start all over again, but I saw a perfect moment of growth in myself. It’s been six years of ups and small downs. I found my way in a big company where I have a perfect platform for my creativity and growth. I started as a stylist and grew to Design Team Elite Stylist. Also, a pivoted moment that I had come out of the global pandemic, I met a young couple who’s helping and mentoring me in all aspects of my life! I absolutely give all glory to my Heavenly Father, who’s lighting up my way when it seems dark. I’m blessed and so happy to live in my life in full potential.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is not an easy way. I would say the most challenging is that you by yourself, no family or friends, only faith and believes that everything is gonna be amazing. Also learning a new system of living life and being aware of so many things that never was taught in my country and culture.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I would like to talk about my career that I’ve been past 20+ years. I am a craft hairdresser and see hair as a can as that you work with. My specialty is making my guest feel special and love their hair. It’s all about the experience. That’s why it’s great to be able to work with all types of textures and hair. I definitely know a precise hairstylist with m’articulas effort.

I’m proud to say that I’m not satin to be curious and learn new things that I can offer to my guests. And I guess all of that plus experience set me apart from others.

The other thing that I’m also exploring and opening to myself entrepreneur field. It is an interesting journey.

What were you like growing up?
When I was growing up, I loved running around with a group of kids and being around kids. Later on, I found that I’m a bit artistic and I would love to be a singer. But life led me to a different direction!
