Today we’d like to introduce you to Edwin Rosario and Sylvester Allison III.
Edwin Rosario Jr. was working for a massage school during the time he had an idea to create Massage Band. He wanted to have clients become more involved in their healing process and massage session that he came up with the idea to more interactive. His idea came with the very innovative idea to attach resistance bands to a massage table and while clients are engaged during there session, this would help them recover faster and become more educated on what the body needs. This is when he brought on Sylvester Allison III to turn his idea into a business, since Aug. 23rd massage band has been up and running and really changing the massage industry one client at a time.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road to make massage band well known has been very good, with challenging situations that I’m sure any business would have to endure. Edwin and Sylvester have been doing really well making sure the brand lives to the name…”the new necessity.”
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Massage Band story. Tell us more about the business.
I am the founder of Massage Band and currently working with clients that we have in Monrovia. I am currently the only person that does massage band but this will be changing due to the new venture we have dove into which is massage band certification and training.
Sylvester Allison is the business side of the business which is very important. dealing with our patent lawyer making sure all documents and teachings are run properly.
What we are proud of so far is that we have been changing the perspective of massage therapy and giving clients and new perspective to massage.
What sets us aside is simply our patent pending method and table that allows clients to be fully clothed and still receive and quality massage session.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
5-10 years we look to possibly franchise and have many facilities across the US.
Continuing the education and training/certification for massage therapist/Personal trainers/Physical therapists.
