Meet Ed D’Ambrosio

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ed D’Ambrosio. Ed was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Sormeh Attarzadeh.

Hi Ed, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.

In my twenties, I was exposed to real estate (RE) through my older sister, Dottie. She was a single mom and encouraged me to get my license, just like she had done. I remember it like it was yesterday when I was preparing for a business trip to California, and she called me again, saying, “Ed, you must get your real estate license.” I laughed and replied, “Sure, when I get back to New York.” Well, a few years passed, and I was now traveling internationally for the import company I had established. My sister continued to encourage me to get my license, so finally, I did.

As I built my import business, I started doing referrals due to my extensive international sphere of influence (SOI). I began to see the incredible opportunities that real estate had to offer, and I started streamlining referrals and investing in some flips for additional income. Several years later, I made the decision to dedicate all of my efforts to a full-time real estate career. I did a lot of cold calls, door-knocking, mailers— you name it, I did it.

Ironically, I found myself working for my sister, who had become an icon in Long Island, the Hamptons, and NYC. When she offered me a management position, I realized that being a leader and helping agents build their businesses was what I wanted. I started attending every training and coaching program available at that time. I learned from renowned professionals such as Mike Ferry, Ed Escarbor (Sweat Hogs), Tom Ferry, and Brian Buffini. I became a certified real estate coach and loved the impact I was having on agents’ lives and careers.

In 1999, I attended my first-ever Anthony Robbins 4-day workshop called “Unleash the Power,” and I was hooked forever.

Please tell us more about your brand, Senior Managing Director at Compass

To reiterate, it’s all about business development for my agents. My greatest joy is seeing one of my agents build a million-dollar business. If you put in the effort and have a growth mindset, you will continue to grow. I firmly believe that if you work by design and not by default, you will see fantastic results. As they say, you have to fail to succeed. You must train your brain to never give up.

Sormeh Attarzadeh and Zentap have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Sormeh Attarzadeh and Zentap and your experience with them.

Well, my journey with Zentap and Sormeh began about 6 and a half years ago. As a leader working with a few hundred agents, I realized they needed assistance with their social media platforms. I have always believed that if you want people to follow your vision and leadership, you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and show them the way.

My strategy was to work closely with Sormeh and her team, developing my platforms. They made it incredibly easy for me with their dashboard of tools, tutoring, one-on-one support, and patient responses to my questions. I can confidently say they saved me countless hours each week with their incredible range of services.

As I continued to build my social media platforms, I would share my posts with my team. I started gaining a nice following, and my team began to see me as a rock star. But the truth is, the real star is ZENTAP! I now have many agents using Zentap because they offer various programs for agents at every level. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned veteran, there is no better partner than Zentap.

My journey continues as I have graduated with Zentap and have taken my social media presence to a whole new level. Thank you, Zentap, for your support and services.
