Dr. Wilkerson, please tell us more about yourself.
I am a chiropractor who focuses on rapidly helping my patients overcome the muscle, nerve and spine pain that dominates and dictates their lives. I achieve this by spending time with my patients to properly diagnose their conditions, closely monitoring their response to care to ensure positive outcomes and by educating them on what they can do on their own to ensure that the pain doesn’t return. So many patients are hindered with pain and it’s my mission to help play a role in improving their quality of life.

As a Chiropractor, I treat patients with musculoskeletal pain of somatic origin. After three decades of practice, I have come to realize that all pain has a psychological component that is much overlooked.

People come to me because they can’t control their pain and neither can other specialists. What people really want but don’t articulate, is a better life and that involves the absence of pain.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being self-employed is never easy. While you may not physically work 24 hours a day, mentally you do work 24 hours a day.

I need to remind myself to live life from the perspective of, “Exercise some of the time, eat healthy most of the time, think well by pursuing God all of the time.”

Wilkerson Chiropractic Office, Inc. – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am the number one resource for quality and comfortable Chiropractic care.

Our office/staff goal is to treat patients as if they were a guest in our home.

My services are unsurpassed in quality and understanding of special patient needs.

We specialize in creative proven chiropractic solutions.

We offer complete examinations, referrals, diagnostic programs and treatment followed by effective competent care. You will appreciate the difference…… for a lifetime!

Our Mission:

Transform the care process into a patient-centered environment that drives an optimal quality care experience.

Quality of Care is measured in the doctor’s enabling the patient to “Take charge of their Life.”

The doctor should enable the patient to feel smart and empowered and not ignorant and dependent.

Having sophisticated technology should empower sophisticated health.

Each treatment room contains internet access, with video and audio education material.

Patients are encouraged in pro-active treatment regimen.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is finding purpose in life. Regaining control of life with values and purpose.

People go to a doctor because they can’t control what is ailing them, they are essentially rendered helpless. Dealing with stress, psychological, physical and emotional. is critical to healing.

Teaching a patient how to control their lives, (taking control of circumstances in life that render them trapped, helpless, overwhelmed and out of control), has a huge reduction on somatic pain.

Regaining control with direct healthy behavior and habits, based on values and purpose is hard work but results in regaining control of their pain and more importantly their life! Eat well, move well, think well.
