Meet Deisy Flores of Fantastic Cleaning Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deisy Flores.

Deisy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I remember the day I told my husband I was quitting my job to start my own cleaning service and he was so supportive about it, his response was “I’m with you don’t worry everything will be fine.”

In all honesty, when I decided to start my business, I did it so that I could spend time with my kids. I wanted to spend more time with them at home, take them on school field trips, and be more involved with their school activities overall. I wasn’t expecting this to take off the way it did, I was expecting it to be small and something similar to a part-time job.

When I started it was just me and my mom, she was my #1 supporter because she didn’t want to see me working alone. We started in a commercial neighborhood passing out business cards and being persistent about offering my services to potential clients. We went through receptionists and little by little started gaining exposure and the trust of current clients.

Referrals helped my business take off. I started off with a team of 2 in 2013 cleaning eight offices in a single day and now I am proud to say that now in 2019 my team of 10 cleans over 55 homes a week.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing ever comes easy. I wasn’t open-minded and aware of the things that could possibly happen. I’ve had team members betraying my trust and my company and that really hurt me more than I thought it would, it made me feel like I wasn’t leading my company correctly but most importantly it was an eye-opener. Also, there were times where the business wasn’t making any profit, it was going directly to payroll, inventory, and gas. I wasn’t afraid that I wasn’t going to make profit because I kept telling myself “It’s an investment and we will get through it”. The investments, sacrifices, and time spent building my teams and training them one-on-one are the things that are now allowing my company to grow.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Fantastic Cleaning Services – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
All Fantastic Cleaning Service employees go through extensive training on cleaning, supplies, and safety. Training them on the field one on one is important to me because we get to go over all the different types of services when I say different types of services it all depends on what the client is requesting.

Below you’ll find a few our most requested services:
Deep Cleaning
Regular House Keeping
Laundry Service
Organizing
Short Term Rentals
Construction Cleaning
Window Washing

We are a family operated business we specialize in Residential and Commercial Cleaning. We take our Cleaning Service very serious, the size of the job doesn’t distinguish the quality we provide to our customers, we specialize in giving the best service at all times.

Like my mother would tell me “clean like if it is your own home.”

I take pride in what I do because this is something that I enjoy. My favorite part of building my company is the first interaction with new clients. I personally go to every home and represent my company with the image that I’ve already built and I know this sets me apart from others. In my eyes, the relationship that I build with my customers matters the most. I present a list with all duties that are provided and explain to them our fees. The homeowner and I take a walk-through of the home, I take notes and ask as many questions as I need to fulfill and meet our client’s expectations. However, I am not the only person who runs my company. I have a lot of support from my sister-in-law Annette, she is my right hand and has been there every step of the way.

The thing I’m most proud of as a company is starting from nothing and making it into something more than it was expected to be. I’m even more proud of the image that I was able to build and have been able to maintain throughout the years.

Fantastic cleaning services is known for our detail and professionalism. We are known for our “pink aprons” and the quality of our services. Our goal is always to satisfy our clients to create that positive energy within our company. Taking on this journey has been a Fantastic experience.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I want to find a way to become an affordable company and then advertise that cleaning services aren’t all expensive. We want to be that stress relief for our clients when it comes to hiring a cleaning service so that they can come to a clean home and spend time with their families or loved ones.

I want to be able to provide flexibility, jobs, and more opportunities so that my team can grow and expand. My main and ultimate goals are to expand my company out of the LA county and for my team to enjoy their job the way I do.
