Today, we’d like to introduce you to Debbie Hamilton. Debbie was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Adrienne Stratton.
Debbie, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Born in Detroit, MI my family relocated to Southern California when I was three, for this reason I can call myself a California girl. I grew up in Anaheim, down the street from Disneyland where we spent many wonderful evenings around the fire pit in the backyard watching the magnificent fireworks. I was surrounded with love and raised with the conditioning of honesty and ethics being the most important part of a persons character.
For the most part, my life was that of any other kid. Went to school, got better grades in some subjects than others, had a large pool of friends and obeyed the rules, bending only a bit from time to time.
Growing up and throughout my adult life I have been very content, always setting goals and achieving them, doing what made me happy always aware that in my heart of hearts there was something more for me, a bigger passion to live. Not having an accurate handle on it. I buried it deep down inside knowing that sooner or later it would present itself when I was ready. And boy, did it! It was loud and strong and I found I was no longer able to run from it, nor did I want to.
It was at this time I decided to begin to research, attend any classes available, and surround myself with like minded people. All the years of questioning myself on knowing things that I really had no way of knowing and would dismiss became abundantly clear. This knowingness was not my thoughts but instead thoughts from spirit which was their form of communication. Like a child in a candy shop and even until today, I wanted to learn more and experience more, breaking down the barriers that have closed me off from these messages.
As time went on and I was able to understand this more I was then able to decipher which of the four “clairs” are my strongest, however, even with this, I tend to learn something more with each reading and become more and more connected with Spirit.
I am a nationally known medium and psychic as well as natural channeler and empath. I am a certified Reiki Master, Karuna Reiki® Master, Divine Peace Healing Practitioner and a Sha Ma Diksha Practitioner. My education process has been at the Institution for Mediumship, Psychic, Astrological & Reiki Training (IMPART), where all necessary programs and certifications have come to completion, however I continue to practice and grow my abilities on a daily basis.
Please tell us more about your brand, Healing Light
What fills me up the most when doing my readings is watching the healing happen, seeing the “a-ha” moments cross the face of my client. During a card reading I connect heavily with my guides and my clients guides, during a card reading I will work with the spiritual world (my guides, angels, archangels, etc), and with the use of cards, runes and the client’s energy begin to bring through the messages that I receive. We tend to look at past, current and future situations that will help them move through their best path. During a mediumship reading I call in this same spiritual team as well as my loved ones and most importantly my client’s loved ones. Once a connection is made I then bring through the information given to me by their loved one. The most important thing for me is to bring through as much evidential information as possible, in other words, bringing up information that the client and their loved one would know that I would have no idea about. I am also a Reiki and Karuna master and can offer 10 minute chair clearings prior to any reading.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Adrienne Stratton and Raven Messages and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Raven Messages.
I had the pleasure of meeting Adrienne approximately seven years ago when she came to me for counseling and training regarding the field. She had told me she was well versed and trained as a Shamanic healer but wanted to get a better understanding on the reading of cards and mediumship.
She was excited and determined to learn all she could and put her whole heart into the teachings. We met every other week for well over a year. During this time she would listen, ask questions until she was ready to start practice sessions with me looking on, her readings became more and more powerful on each and every one and eventually was able to spread her wings on her own.
She shows huge compassion when working with her clients and has gone on to be very successful in doing readings both privately and in faire settings as well as becoming a host on a weekly Blog Talk Radio called “The Psychic Fun House”.
During our time together our relationship has evolved from teach / student to dear friend. We help to promote one another, hold a Metaphysical Class and from time to time doing reading parties.
