Today, we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Facchine . Danielle was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Raquel Reyes.
Hi Danielle, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
For most of my adult life I’ve been interested in personal development. I’m an avid reader and I started to dig into personal development books, Back then they were referred to as “self-help” books and it was a time when self-help or therapy wasn’t considered “cool” or well-supported. It wasn’t until after I graduated college that I started to recognize just how many people leaned on me for advice – friends, coworkers, even strangers shared their woes with me! It seemed like I was always able to provide a perspective they hadn’t previously considered, or at the very least just be an ear to witness their challenges. I guess those quiet nights in privately indulging in self-help books paid off.
In 2017, I enrolled in a health and life coaching program and in two years I completed as much as I could earring multiple certificates in health coaching, life coaching, and mastery transformational coaching. As excited as I was to help other people through their phoenix rising transformation journey, it seemed I often struggled reframing my own limiting beliefs around my ability to be successful. Because I didn’t reach out for support or hire a mentor, I let my fears get the best of me and abandoned my desire to be a coach – the thing I knew in my heart was my life’s purpose. I just couldn’t get out of my own way.
A couple years later, I started following Raquel in Instagram and was instantly drawn to her and her energy. I worked with her as often as I could through workshops and classes and even joined a beautiful manifestation community she created called Allure. After giving myself permission to tap into my witchy side through tarot, ritual, and manifestation practices, I knew I wanted to work with her more closely. It was through working with Raquel that I regained my curiosity and motivation, and reinvigorated my desire to be a coach. I know now more than ever, people need support in so many ways, and I’m really honored to be able to do this type of work.
I spent most of my 20s and 30s in unhealthy relationships (and situationships) because I believed my worthiness was tied to my relationship status – in my mind it was better to be in a relationship that made me sick with anxiety than to be (dun dun dun) “alone”. Once I realized that I was afraid to be alone only because society told me I “should” be at a certain place by a certain age, I knew it was time to release those societal expectations. I opened my eyes to the truly magical and exciting opportunities available to me, and I realized I don’t have to wait around for a partner to start taking advantage of those experiences. I stopped feeling ashamed of my “singleness” and started getting excited about the abundance of time and space I had to do the things that my soul was craving – to fully live my life.
And now I get to coach single women who are experiencing the same feels and guide them into a new, empowered life.
Please tell us more about your brand, Single Life Revolution
As an intuitive life coach, guide, and tarot reader, I help single reclaim their personal power in order to come home to themselves in sacred and empowering ways. I teach what it means to live from a place of personal power as I guide them through their phoenix rising moments so they can rise from the ashes into their new lives. In my coaching, my super powers are helping other people see experiences from a different perspective and being able to break change down into easily digestible chunks. Transformation isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I meet my clients where they’re at and walk with them along their journey. I prioritize their desires and needs, and we work together to create a plan that feels slightly challenging, but doable – getting out of their comfort zone is the key! I work with my clients on setting boundaries, well-rounded self-care practices, increasing confidence and self-esteem, finding courage and bravery, releasing fears and limiting beliefs, and finding joy and excitement. I think we’re at the tipping point for single women: some are still in the generation where they’re judged if they aren’t married and/or have children by a certain age, and some are of the new generations where women are not only getting married or having children later in life, but they are wholly embracing their single lives. And yet, as humans it’s natural for us to compare ourselves to our peers, and if our life looks different than people our age, it might feel like we’re behind in life. As a brand, I’m most proud to support women at this stage of their lives – what an exciting time! To have your whole life ahead of you and be able to release other people’s expectations along with the compare and despair cycle opens the door to more freedom, adventure, and peace than you can imagine.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Raquel Reyes and Astrology with Raquel and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Astrology with Raquel .
Oh my gosh, where do I start? Raquel is a Latina astrologer, coach, tarot reader, manifestation queen, and magic-maker. As I mentioned above, I first entered Raquel’s space a few years ago on Instagram, and I remember feeling so drawn to her vibe and energy. Raquel’s approach to her work is compassionate and kind, but she’s also not shy about gently calling you in if you need a bit of tough love. I think my favorite part is that she doesn’t “bad” astrology transits or “bad” tarot cards – she can flip challenge and chaos into opportunity, and she makes it less scary.
Working with Raquel has been the most transformative experience, and I’m so lucky to be able to work with her. When I joined my first round of her manifestation community in May 2020, I knew it was the right move, but I had deep-seated fears around not being accepted by women and wounds around previous friendships. The welcoming, safe, and comfortable space Raquel created gave me the permission to be vulnerable and open. I learned to trust that it is safe to be myself, fully and completely, and these women became my friends – it makes me emotional now just thinking about it. I love and adore these women, and it’s because of the community Raquel created, nurtured, and loved that I was able to heal this wound.
Raquel and I spent the last year working together 1:1, and in that time she helped me tap into my magic (I am a Scorpio, after all), and I launched my very first offer – tarot readings! I had a lot of fears around launching a coaching business and not being ready, but she reflected back to me that I was ready. I trusted her and myself, and I went for it! One thing about Raquel is that she will always believe in you 100% even if you’re not there yet. I learned that business doesn’t have to look any specific way, and that what matters is what feels aligned and exciting to me. With her support, I worked with my fears and launched my coaching business, something that had been on my heart for 5 years but had never come to fruition. The fears are still there but Raquel taught me that it’s not about eliminating the fear – it’s about learning to work WITH them to fan the flames of inspiration and inspired action.
Not only have I launched my business, but in the time I have worked with and known Raquel I have learned the power of manifestation. Since 2020 I have manifested a new apartment that checked all the “must have” boxes; over $30,000 in extra cash; travel opportunities to the witchiest places (Salem, MA, and New Orleans, LA); releasing of old friendships to make space for new, aligned friendships; and new networking connections. I have learned the power of ritual and routine, and allowed myself to lean more deeply into my witchy side than ever before. I know more about my personal astrology than ever, and I love learning about myself through my chart and the validation I get from a reading. I experience more peace and balance in my life because I prioritize rest and rejuvenation over hustle and bustle.
None of this would have been possible this quickly without Raquel’s support. I absolutely love and adore her, and I’m so lucky to call her a friend.
