Today we’d like to introduce you to Catareeya Kijkla.
Hi Catareeya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After completing my Bachelor of Business Administration at Thammasat University, I went on to work as an Auditor at PwC, follow by becoming a Business Consultant, specialized in development of Standard Operating Procedures for various global corporations in Thailand. In 2006, I moved to Sydney, Australia to pursue my Master in Commerce at the University of Sydney, then made another big move.
For full transparency, I am still in the corporate world. I work in Financial Strategy and now as Project Manager at one of the largest Emergency Services Agencies. Not because I have to but because I want to.
The work I do here is also an extension of who I am. I believe in their mission in serving the community and as long as I feel my contribution makes a difference, I will continue to serve in this capacity.
But I know in my heart, there’s always been something more too. (Hello, over-achiever!) I felt like I could do more, be more.
It was here where I was introduced to the world and the power of coaching, and the rest is history.
I lost count of how many incredible online entrepreneurs I saw spinning plates in the air and after talking with so many and hearing how they were feeling like they were floundering in business.
So this is where I stepped in, and why?
Because I know building, strengthening, growing and scaling the impact of your business while converting and retaining desirable clients requires a very different set of skills than just being an amazing coach. (And they don’t teach you this stuff in coaching school!).
I helped and to this day help people around the world ensure that their business is sturdy and efficient enough to allow them to focus on their clients and what truly energizes them to be their best self and business owner.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think many people have a smooth road but I have learnt that those road bumps along the way really help us all develop the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to grow and become stronger.
With that being said, it really does make us ultimately become who we were always meant to be.
One of my biggest struggles was very early on for me when I left Thailand to study and further into commencing my career.
That was not speaking the language and literally having to start what felt like everything from scratch.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I love helping experts in their fields create, launch and grow their profitable & impactful businesses to feel less overwhelmed in their businesses while increasing their impact and quality of clients with effective bespoke funnels, meaningful offer suite, and powerful systems.
When working with so many of my clients, there’s often a simple change in process or mindset that can be the difference between launching with a bang or a fizzle.
So I give clients the tools they need to create the future we know is possible.
I want to empower clients to do authentic work that fulfills them while making a living that actually sustains them.
In turn, my clients then work with more clients who then go out and make their mark in the world.
It’s a win-win all around.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
That our story plays an integral part of who we are and to be proud of that journey even through those stumbling blocks because like I mentioned earlier it makes us grow, become stronger and ultimately become the person I believe that we were always meant to be.
In fact, I have recently put myself forward to share my personal story alongside other International Co-Authors for the Imperfectly Perfect Campaign Book Series, titled ‘The Story You Are Sat On, Somebody Out There Is Waiting to Hear’ which excited me because through the journey of mine, I hopefully get to inspire and encourage somebody out there in the world who like I once was, could be very similar to me and be feeling so many of the emotions I once did stepping out into new places, not speaking the language and having feelings of doubt, feeling unsettled and out of my depth.
I hope my story empowers even just one person to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and to embrace the opportunities put before them.
