Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Moskow.
Brittany , please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started 4 years ago after I graduated makeup school. I got to where I am today by doing a lot of networking to get my clients to then be able to work from word of mouth.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road ! I have had to a lot of free work in order to get my name out there. As well as I have had times where I worked for trade and didn’t get the photos from the photographer .
Do you feel luck has played a role in your life?
Honestly, luck hasn’t played any part of my life or my career. Everything I have accomplished in my life and career has been from hard work and dedication. But without patience, I would never of gotten as far as I have .
Is there a quality or characteristic that has played an outsized role in your success?
To stay humble is the most important to me . I want to always remember why I became a makeup artist, which was to make other people happy. I never want to lose sight of that .
Tell us about your favorite and least favorites things about our city.
The best thing I like about our city is that this is where everyone wants to be . It’s everyone’s dream and I’ve been blessed to live here my whole life . What I like least about our city is that everyone is trying to be a makeup artist which makes the competition that much harder.
