Today we’d like to introduce you to Carrie Cain (Ceecee) Sparks.
CeeCee learned the art of braiding at just 7 years old from her mother. (I was probably eating glue at 7…) Her mother had 8 kids, four boys and four girls. All eight kids wanted braids, even the boys and so her mom and to do everyone’s hair really fast – as a result CeeCee had to learn how to braid her own hair and ultimately those early experiences have allowed her to become one of Burbank’s best braidologists.
She offers hair-braiding, corn rows, box braids, individuals, wedding styles, UpDo’s, twists and Senegalese-Kinky. She is based in Burbank, but clients come from various parts of LA because getting your hair done by CeeCee Sparks is a true beauty Shop experience – she pampers you and helps you look beautiful.
In speaking with CeeCee we were blown away by how deeply she cares about her work – she thinks of it as spiritual and as each job she does as a work of art. She understands that each head of hair that she braided is a walking billboard for the next two to three months.
Pricing:
- Braids $150-$250
- Price goes up in increments of $25 based on if client wants thinner(more)braids or longer length
- Price increases slightly for mixing hair colors on the fly
