Meet Brian Vaiatica of LA Teams in Mid-Wilshire

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Vaiatica.

Brian, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The company started in 2010 with the idea to help people with small jobs. We wanted to provide the help that they needed, but couldn’t find with bigger companies.

We started with one item moves. We saw more needs, and we expanded to include art installation, TV installation, Chandelier installation, assembly services and hoisting services.

We really took the time to study and learn every service we provide. We wanted to figure out the best way to complete the job. We tested all the hardware and tools available on the market.

We’ve always loved art. Since the expansion and creation of LA Teams in 2013, we’ve focused on being known as an art installation company because that is what our team is most specialized in.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With the variety of services that we provide, the struggle was to find the right people for our team. Growing from one crew to a few crews, we needed people who would be able to learn, and complete the job to our company’s standards. We needed to figure out how to copy the quality of our first crew, and have it be present in all of our crews.

Additionally, in the beginning, proving ourselves and getting our name out there was a challenge. Los Angeles is a large territory. We needed a good reputation that could help us acquire more customers.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about LA Teams – what should we know?
We provide solutions for several home-related needs. We are most known for our installation work which includes art, chandeliers, fixtures and décor. We are proud of the relationships that we’ve developed with many of LA’s top designers and design studios. It’s a real honor to be a part of their projects. We’re very proud of the work we do. Our installations will be seen every day by our customers in their homes/offices. We want them to be happy that they chose our company to install their art and chandeliers.

We are something that’s not on the market — no other company is all encompassing. We can do all the odd jobs, or any custom installation, in one visit. In some cases, our customers call us when they’re not sure the job can be done, and we make it happen.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Our great team deserve most of the credit. Dustin, Jade, Brian, Geronimo, Toni, Aaron, and Laura have all found their own strong points in our team, and are valuable in many different ways. They have also developed personal relationships with many of our customers. Our customers are amazing. They’ve really helped us become the company we are today by sharing their positive experiences with their friends and neighbors. We really appreciate our customers, and many of them use our services again and again.
