Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Capree Morgan. Ashley Capree was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Dionna Sharay Smith.

Ashley Capree, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
First off, I’m a creative entrepreneur with a company named Innovative Bling. Innovative Bling is a handmade smoking aesthetics company. I customize lighters, ashtrays, and rolling trays with vinyl, epoxy, glitter, and crystals.

Innovative Bling, surprisingly, has stemmed from numerous amount of casual conversations. I would listen to others talk about their struggles with specific smoking aesthetics like lighters, rolling trays, and anything used as an ashtray. Those conversations ignited my creativity due to the lack of customized smoking essentials, which sparked my entrepreneurial thoughts that if more people could customize smoking accessories, they would be less likely to lose them.

So I started making personalized lighters with images and or logos, named or catchy phrased rolling trays, and colorful assorted shaped ashtrays.

Please talk to us about your creative work and career. What should we know?
The magically crafted Innovative Bling products fill my world with joy. I can craft all day long. Pouring passion into each product is fulfilling. Another thing that makes me happy is the compliments I receive about my products. It makes me overjoyed when someone notices the hard work and time put in to achieve the outstanding quality of Innovative Bling. Ultimately, when I see the happiness someone has while using my products reassures me of the purpose of IB in this world. On top of that, there are moments when I’m faced with creative roadblocks. A frequent roadblock is when creating handmade Innovative Bling products, I may mix the wrong colors, and things need to come out right, resulting in multiple attempts. So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Dionna Sharay Smith and Thee Smithington and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Thee Smithington.
Hmmm…where do I start. I meet Dionna, or as she introduced herself, Dee Smith socializing with friends. It’s unbelievable because when I saw her, she looked familiar, but at the time, we had no idea where we may have seen each other before. While hanging out, Dionna noticed I had a DOT business card like hers. That led to a conversation about business and the exchange of contact information. She explained her business type, helping individuals and companies build, expand, and manage to generate growth with creative strategy, marketing, branding, and social media. I found that intriguing since I was in the building stage of Innovative Bling. As we talked more, Dee was very passionate about what she does, which was a green flag for us to connect possibly.

A few weeks went by until we reconnected again. During this encounter, Dionna casually learned my business effortlessly. She analyzed Innovative Bling’s marketing and branding. After the conversation, she suggested where I could improve to see growth in my business. The next day she sent me a formal document called a Creative Action Plan with an in-depth recommendation, action steps for improved marketing and branding, and unique out-of-the-box things. I was amazed at what she came up with. Thee Smithington knew what she was talking about. After that, she began working on things that were in the Creative Action Plan. Within a few weeks or less, I saw a tremendous difference in my business. Now IB generates daily sales and fosters new connections, which Dee has strategized to help my company.

Thee Smithington has built a website, created content, made an Etsy, built a Pinterest, generated unthought-of opportunities, and managed IB. We have monthly check-ins, and she is available 24/7 whenever I have a question or would like to execute a new idea.
