Today we’d like to introduce you to Ari Mc Intyre.
Ari, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Candle by Ari starting at the turn of the new century back in 1999. I had always been a very sensitive person when was a child my family use my sense of smell to check if the food was spoiling. I also could feel what other people were feeling and I thought that was normal. My grandmother and I have a very telepathic connection. I thought everyone could her what she was thinking. She explained to me later what I had was give and one day God would show me what to do with it. It was only normal for me to go into Spiritual Coaching.
Anyway back in 1999, I have few clients that need to get center and I could feel their nervous energy and wanted to help ground them. I went to many different stores look for colors and scents that I thought would help them keep their balance. Not being able to find anything that match the color and fragrance I wanted I decided to make a few candles to see if that would work. Well, the first few months I knew I was on to something because my clients wanted to buy more and more. This was all new to me because I was just trying to help them stay balanced. My main goal was to help my people find spirit in their day to day life. I knew the power of color and fragrance.
Remember we could smell before we could speak. That is how we knew our parents, we could smell them. I started really working on perfecting my candle colors and scents. I worked on labels, containers and really defining who my end user would be. I didn’t want to put out something I could not reproduce. So I brought in a team to help me work out all my detail. The affirmations on the candles was a major breakthrough because it was something I had been doing with my clients for years. I always knew the power of the mind and the spoken word. In my meditation class I use the color, scents and affirmations to help my student connect to their higher power. That power is within all of us we just have to tap in and that is what my company motto is Aromatherapy beyond the senses! In 2014, I was given the chance to have my own live weekly radio show with all podcast carried on the I Heart network. With the weekly show, client and candle company I now understand what my Grandmother was telling me all those years ago. Spirit has giving me a gift of helping people find their inner peace. Because when you are in peaceful mind set you are in your true power and nothing and no one can defeat you.
Has it been a smooth road?
Meeting people in need seem to be everywhere. I thinking a little love and light goes a long way! Keeping the faith is one of the things we humans struggle with. We have to as adult work a lot harder to keep the faith if we have adversity upon us. As children, we just believed and that is what the struggle that my work is in keep the balance of faith in our day to day lives.

We specialize in Affirmation Aromatherapy candles. We are most proud of our Yoga candles, Meditation candles, Divine Feline and Divine Canine for animal parents.
Our candle are all made here in the California with the end user in mind. Nothing leaves our company without being blessed.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love our name which literally means city of Angels! And truly with us being the entertainment capital of the world I know we have given the world major boost to what we can be as angel in the world.
I think the thing I don’t like is folk don’t realize you have to do the work. Yes, we have major opportunities but you have to pay your dues!
