Meet Anthony Ortiz of Pairamilitary Music Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Ortiz.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served for the next ten years. After traveling the world and participating in the most current operations of that time, I decided to pursue my passion for music. I attended the Los Angeles Film School and received both an Associates in Music Production as well as a Bachelor’s in Entertainment Business. During my time in Los Angeles, I meet what is now the team that drives Pairamilitary Music Group to new heights.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There has definitely been some bumps in the road along the way, Creativity is something that can flourish in the right atmosphere and mindset, however, in any musicians beginning there is always distractions and bad energy that you have to dispose of in order to grow. From relationships, overbooked monthly schedules, and the loss of loved ones, there has been reasons to give in to stress however, the camaraderie between the Pairamilitary team strengthens.

Please tell us more about your work.
Pairamilitary Music Group, a Hollywood based location with professionally trained singers, songwriters and musicians of all types that record, mix and master tracks in house as well as collect music from talents across the genres for the purpose of music publishing and exposure.

Established relationships across the industry assist in the sales and display of submitted artwork to music supervisors across the entertainment business.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I was to go back, I would put more importance on my organization as far as music files, splits sheets, etc… Once I realized how important it was to have all music properly registered and documented, I ended up going back and having to quality check every project we had done so far. Although it was time-consuming it was worth it.
