Hi Anne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Prints&Crafts.Co wasn’t born in a boardroom, it was born from a dream, a lot of heart, and two incredible women who believed in us before we even fully believed in ourselves.

What started as a creative hobby began to grow when **my mother-in-law (my very first supporter) **started placing custom orders during the pandemic. She saw the potential in what I was making, and with every order, she helped shape the foundation of what would become this business.

Not long after, my close friend Sheila asked if I could create custom bridesmaid and groomsmen boxes for her wedding. That one “yes” became a defining moment, it made me realize that people weren’t just buying products… they were trusting me with their most meaningful moments.

I wasn’t a professional designer. I was a nurse, not trained in art or graphics. But they believed in me and slowly, others did too.

Today, Prints&Crafts.Co exists because of that trust. Every piece we create is rooted in gratitude, for the people who supported us from the beginning, and for you, who are now part of this growing journey.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When I first started Prints&Crafts.Co, I was working full-time as a nurse while trying to build the business from scratch. I would stay up late fulfilling orders, managing social media, and teaching myself everything through YouTube videos. Balancing both worlds was exhausting, but my passion kept me going.

Imposter syndrome has also been a quiet challenge, feeling like I wasn’t good enough, doubting my designs, and being shy to promote my work. Even now, visibility and confidence on social platforms is something I continue to work on.

Another big obstacle is space. I work from a small home setup, so optimizing every inch has been necessary. But despite these struggles; juggling time, self-doubt, limited space, and starting from zero. I truly believe each challenge helped shape the resilience, creativity, and growth I have today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a former registered nurse who spent nearly two decades in healthcare, but today I run my own small business full time, a heartfelt blend of crafting, wellness, and storytelling. My journey from nursing to entrepreneurship wasn’t a sharp turn, but a gradual shift rooted in the same purpose: to care for others.

Through my business, Prints&Crafts.Co, I create personalized items and wellness-inspired pieces that help people feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I specialize in custom apparel, gifts, and novelty items often designed for life’s meaningful moments. What sets me apart is that every item I make comes with intention, empathy, and heart.

I’m most proud of how I turned a healing profession into a healing space, not just through health, but through creativity, connection, and community. It’s been a full-circle kind of path, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
