Andrea, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I officially launched Gracious Om in 2018 after leaving my 9-5 and fully committing to my own self-care.
I was going through a period in my life where I was having problems sleeping and dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety. Not wanting to turn to pharmaceuticals, I focused on holistic healing instead and began studying plant medicines, including working with cannabis and learning about all the healing properties of CBD.
After that, Gracious Om started unfolding naturally. I focused all my intentions to creating products that were going to help whoever used them. Ultimately, I wanted to create a brand that was going to help people remember the importance of self-care and bring forth inner healing and self-love.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. Entrepreneurship is not the glamorized lifestyle we often see highlighted on social media. It takes a lot of hard work and determination.
My journey with Gracious Om has definitely had its challenges. Being a Latina in the cannabis industry alone comes with its own set of obstacles that I’ve had to overcome and continue to overcome on a daily basis. However, despite these challenges, I am very blessed to say I am living my dream and enjoying every part of this journey.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Gracious Om – what should we know?
You should know that Gracious Om is a modern Hemp & CBD infused skin-care and beauty company that focuses on creating natural, vegan and chemical free products. Each product is carefully formulated & lab tested to make sure that it is benefitting all who use it, no matter the age or skin type.
Right now, my company is most known for its high end yet affordable Jade Rollers, Gua Sha kits, scrubs, facial masks, facial sprays & creams; the skin-care part of the brand. Coming 2019, I am extremely excited to announce that I will be introducing Gracious Om Beauty which will focus on an entire new line of transcending beauty products!
Getting to grow Gracious Om is an amazing feeling, but I am most proud and happy when I get to meet all the people who have been supporting my brand and have made it possible for me to continue this journey and provide them with one of a kind, high quality skin-care and beauty. It makes me so happy when people let me know how much they love my products or how Gracious Om has changed their skin and self-care routine for the better. It’s always such a great feeling!
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Trust and integrity are vital to Gracious Om’s success. On a personal level I value these two characteristics tremendously, and when starting my business, it was no different. I do my best to provide people with the best, this includes sourcing organic, non- GMO ingredients and the highest quality full spectrum CBD oil and Hemp. I want people to see Gracious Om and know it’s a company they can love and trust.
