Today we’d like to introduce you to Amelie Trimpl.
Hi Amelie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a photographer from Germany, focusing on visual storytelling that blends intent and elegance. Over time, I realized the need for creative direction that went beyond photography, so I founded my own agency to help brands and artists shape their visual identity from concept to execution. Today, I work with clients internationally, combining photography, art direction, and production to bring their stories and brand values to life. The launch of the agency was celebrated with a visual performance by an artist inn front of a big audience. The goal for the launch was to build an evening and lasting impression around the agency’s core values. Bunt is a German word that means “colorful”, but instead of being super colorful we take it metaphorically.
Queerness and Partnership were the main themes of the performance,representing queer love with intention. I believe that building around values and representation makes it easier to stay emotionally authentic.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course it is never a smooth road. There have been times in which staying true to agency’s values and intention had us turn down clients, which is never easy as a business especially in the first months. But that is exactly what we pride ourselves in.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a photographer and creative director and the founder of BUNT Agency. Most of my work is in fashion. My style is minimal and highlights whatever client I am working for. It is important for me that a picture or a project is has the clients product in foreground. Using light and colors to make the happen is what I am specialized in. Building projects around values and intentional design is what I focus on.
What’s next?
No big changes right now.. As for BUNT we will always strive for design with intent. And as for my work in photography am looking forward to create visuals that align with my clients vision or even exceed it.
