Meet Alyson Mcknight

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyson Mcknight.

Hi Alyson, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started in New York, 16, attending a Cosmetology program in high school and working as a salon assistant.

After being a college dropout, I pursued hair more seriously and went to London to sharpen my skills.

Returning to the U.S I decided to take a leap of faith and move to LA. I started working for HairQueenLA & Mayvenn, which leveled up my career and talent.

That good life became uncomfortable once I started being called to step out and start – The Wig Catalog.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all.

I had to fight fear, doubt, and unfortunate circumstances due to the pandemic.

I took some losses in the process of trying to get it right.
