Meet Abdul Kareem of Irvine Cricket Club

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abdul Kareem.

IRVINE CRICKET CLUB is an established team for the past 10 years since its first game here in Irvine, Southern California. We have been playing the sport with sportsmanship and to the rules. We have an excellent track record of success in this game of Cricket. We seek at this time sponsorship for our team as it has been involved with leagues here in Orange County (Orange County Cricket Association).

The audience for this event is huge and growing. We have a balance of players from across the globe. Our Team has been operating in very simple yet efficient manner for the past years, embracing players who have great affinity for the game. Our target audience does not limit to the Asian demographic, but expands to the increasing popularity of this game. Irvine city has included as one of the sport it is course curriculum to teach cricket to youth. As a Team, we vouch to our sponsor, that it will expand the marketing potential and increase sales.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
ICC established its presence with loyalty and based bylaws on fairness, that would be the feedback which one would receive or in other words the word on the street.

Iteration is a perennial issue with major organizations such as these, and ICC was not impacted for its first 10 years, however ICC had a set up when we had the club members grew close to 50 and the Core decided to start Team 2, After a couple of seasons, Team 2 split from the main club forming its own.

ICC has now come back strong and its growing by catering to the folks who just want to enjoy the game.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Irvine Cricket Club story. Tell us more about the business.
ICC is a recreational club which caters to Cricket, Cricket is one of the oldest game around in this planet. The amount of cricket lovers and clubs is increasing consistently.

ICC has been a well-organized club from its inception and groomed itself on the basis of being fair to each member no matter how many years he/she is part of the club. The key differentiator would be from the rest of the club is we provide a platform to show case each and every members’ skills and rise to the level of engagements within the team.

We are truly pleased that our iteration factor is far less from other clubs which makes us unique.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being a team and putting team first has always provided us with success.
