Today we’d like to introduce you to Spechale Lewis.

Hi Spechale, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My Mother moved me to chino when I was 9 years old I was devasted, but we had to get out of the inner city of Los Angeles to change the trajectory, that same year I meet my best friend Nikki

She was older than I was and already learned some valuable skills a few years later I seen Nikki braiding the young’s guys hair in the neighborhood, and not that this hadn’t been done all my life around me seeing family do hair it just never dawned on me that people were paying for these services , at 13 I thought to myself I could do that!
The first time I tried I could not do that needless to say it took all summer to finally get a grip on the braids and at 13 going into high school I was able to do every braid style that was around. I used the background of both of my parents to fulfill my business my dad gave me a lot of community smarts how to interact with community give back, hustle, and provide what the people need my mother on the other hand gave me a corporate background showing me how to organize my own business and bring something professional and classy to the community.
I’ve been doing hair since 13, 8 years professionally now and 20+ years of experience my business has seen the development of technology out lasted a world wide shut down yet through it all I have learned that nothing can stop the gift God puts inside of you.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Stacked with style has been serving the community for 8 years professionally with over 20+ years of experience
Within the last 8 years my company has experienced client fluctuations, relocation, and even a world wide shut down. Navigating all the challenges of being an owner-operator of a company has definitely shown me different parts of myself but overall has taught me to have perseverance To fight thru every obstacle.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a creative who specializes in hair art I find ways to make people shine from the inside out using every head of hair as my canvas. The difference about stacked with style is that I specialize in healthy hair, that is the overall goal.
I want my clients to be able to take their hair to new heights in the healthiest ways.

What matters most to you? Why?
Creating a safe space for my clients has become one of the most important values at stacked with style.
