Today we’d like to introduce you to R.L. Worthy. R.L. Worthy is an independent researcher, author, documentarian, and patented inventor. His books can be found in colleges and public libraries across the country (including the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture). Through the decades, he has also visited more than 70 countries and lived on four continents. In addition to that, over the last 10 years R.L. has also attained some rather remarkable health results through biophysics and nutrition!H owever, the subject of our conversation today is his latest endeavor—The Moral Arc.

R.L., thanks for taking the time to speak with us.

No worries, happy to be here.

Hearing your CV, brings the term ‘Renaissance Man’ to mind. Where did all of this start for you?
For me, I would have to say it began with ancient Egypt.

Really! What happened in your life to make you want to research the Egyptians?
From a young age I was curious about Africa. But the stereotypical images and books about Africa that I was exposed to growing up wasn’t anything I could embrace, so I learned very little about Africa until I graduated from college. During my first trip abroad in 1978, I still remember standing in the British Museum and looking up in awe at the ancient portraits and statues of dozens of Egyptian kings and queens! What was so revelatory about this experience for me was that these majestic men and women were so obviously Black: their skin color, their gods, even hair and hairstyles, all spoke to their African identity. Yet, the complexion of the Egyptians that I was force-fed by the educational system (and media) had been the other way round. Coming to understand that I lived in a land that had been lying to me my whole life would serve as the catalyst for this journey.

Because you cited the Egyptians, from your travel and studies, is it true that Black civilization was amongst the world’s earliest?
Yes, that’s true. And I might add that not only do we find such ancient Black peoples as the Nubians, Egyptians, Babylonians, and Phoenicians developing before the peoples of many other lands—but their longevity has remained unchallenged to this day!

Then you’re saying that the civilizations you’ve just mentioned, not only came before the civilizations of the West, but were to last longer?
That’s precisely what I’m saying. For example, the Egyptian civilization lasted some 2400 years, the Nubian civilization lasted some 3500 years, and Etruscan civilization would span 1000 years. When we compare these figures to major societies in the West today, such as Great Britain’s 500 years or the United States’ 250 years, we realize how amazing those ancient societies truly were! I’m not sharing this with you to put anyone else down—I’m simply stating this for truth’s sake.

Got it. I see that you have also spent years researching biophysics and health. Can you quickly share anything about that with us?
Sure. First for your audience, when you hear the term ‘biophysics’ being associated with wellness, this commonly relates to electromagnetic energy and health. I realize that biophysics (or energy therapy) sounds like dangerous science fiction—but it is not! In truth, it dates at least as far back as the life of Tesla in the West! Moreover, many modern scientists have actually certified it, and obtained U.S. patents for its safe medical use.

What is energy medicine?
Electromagnetic energy (often referred to as ‘Energetics’) can be used to improve health in many ways. However, the application that I have focused on is using electromagnetic energy to safely neutralize harmful microbes throughout the body with no side-effects.

Do you know anyone who has been helped using energetics?
Most definitely. Truth be told, I have personally benefited from biophysics. I had a chronic illness for twenty years that was completely reversed through this discipline!

Would you care to tell us more about your experience?
Actually, it’s kind of a long story, but if anyone would like to know more about energetics, we have documentaries and other information about the science on our website.

Alright. Well, that brings us to the subject of our discussion—The Moral Arc. What is themoralarc.com?
The Moral Arc is a free website that is committed to promoting the truth in a variety of areas from history and religion, to biophysics and wellness. For instance, our current homepage documentary explains why straightening Black hair is not merely historically incongruent, but biologically dangerous! In addition, we have dozens of short videos, life affirming documentaries, audio lectures, e-books, jigsaw puzzles for children, and a bookstore for those who wish to pursue these subjects on a deeper level.

I know we’re short on time but I wanted to ask you about the documentary you produced about Beethoven. Is it true that Beethoven was Black?
Yes, it is.

Wow! That seems like a rather controversial position to take insomuch as everyone today depicts him as a Caucasian.
I’m obviously aware of that, but Beethoven’s contemporaries did not refer to him as, ‘The Black Spaniard,’ without cause. Feel free to check out the Ludwig Van Beethoven documentary on The Moral Arc website. It is not very long and its free with sign up.

I can’t wait!

Enjoy!

Can you explain why the topic of tattoos is on the website?
Tattooing is a serious issue! It is not something that should ever be taken lightly from a health perspective. Our Arc videos about tattooing address the matter by providing a more complete picture of the biological risks that accompany the practice.

Are those videos free too?
Yes, all of our docs are free with sign up.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Frankly, the obstacles that I have overcome are no different than those that most people face. So, let’s not spend time focusing on them.

Alright. Before we close, please tell us what made you assemble your team and create The Moral Arc?
There are two basic reasons. First, there is a lot of well-established knowledge floating around that would not merely improve the quality, but actually save the lives of millions! Yet, because it is not being acknowledged by the educational system or sponsors of mainstream media, most will never receive a clue! And secondly, in the West, there is an adage amongst the wealthy which goes: “It is the duty of the old to lie to the young.” But as a young man I was taught that people who tell lies (and those who follow them) have no future. So early on, I decided to place purpose and self-actualization, over hype and consumerism. Having said that, you’re aware of the polymathic nature of my cv. After decades of research in many areas, and as someone who has witnessed the unmatched milestones, trials, and sacrifices of my people—TMA was founded to impact the lives of others (regardless of race) through truth. In the words of the ancient Egyptians, “Truth can make a way, even for the ignorant . . .”

Is there anything else you’d like to say before we conclude today?
Yes, simply that in a time of chaos and turmoil, one cannot afford to think less—that’s a time when we need to think more!

Thanks R.L.
Pleasure.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Truth matters . . .
